Best screenshots yet ! But I am kinda of an oldschool guy I would rather not have the bump mapping on the scenery, the models are nice, but just like EQ2 it just makes things look glossy and to much...hmm whats the word. Like a lot of roughness and edgy I mean the rugs in that one screenshot look liek they are made out of stone >_<.

Excellent screenshots! I wonder what the recommended specs to play will be? Surely beyond many gaming systems today. My 2 year old rig has trouble playing EQ2.

I am glad to see dark elves that actually look dark (as they are in D&D) and not blue or grey/green. The few character models I have seen look superior to Everquest 2's claymation appearance of skin and figure. I really hope Vanguard is not as much of a 'teen game' as EQ2. I want to see both functional and sexy magical armor. Typical clothing and robes and sexy attire that looks like what we should expect to see in a fantasy world. I beleive games should be ART, and not recreation of the less stylish aspects of our world or our history. EQ2 fails in this, showing a lack of arttistic style in its models and their accessories. I look at Vangaurd and I have hope for much more and so far the screens have not let me down.

Nice with some new screenshots. Though I think the char's look really simply and just like many other games. But ofcourse we'll have to wait and judge that till the game is done and ready. Though Im pretty sure it's not a game Im gonna play.
