Just got the game and gonna give it a try... I'd like to read a little before I venture further, any good pointers out there ? Google + COH gives you thousand links of guides on sale... Thanks a lot |

you should really check the forums for the game, and find a character builder link from them and try not to gimp your character. |

Yeah thanks for the tips, maps and the official forums are pretty good and very organized actually... First time I logged with my blaster, was expecting a buncha guys that looked just like me, just like in any other MMORPG to date. What a surprise, nver seen so much diversity in a MMORPG before. |

FYI, at level 20, 30, and 40, there are missions you can do that will unlock costume slots. So you can have up to 4 different costumes. You can /bind or macro those costumes to abilities. Pyropithicus (My main 45 Blaster) has a macro set up that I click. He says "Monkey go BOOM!", uses Inferno attack (Huge firey explostion around him) and changes to his "Inferno outfit" (His arms are replaced with metalic robot arms and his body is smoldering fire. at level 30, you unlock aura's. You'll see those as fire/sparkle/gas that comes off the character. These are all eye candy, but fun |
