The folks over at The Matrix Online have announced the events schedule for the next six months.  They have also posted a summary of the first event dubbed The Menace of Red Eyed Agents, you can read all those details right here.

Following the success of The Race to Find the One live event, WBIE and Monolith Productions are proud to announce our Live Events Team schedule for the next six months. Beginning next week, The Matrix Online moves forward with a new cinematic and accompanying mission pack. Morpheus continues his quest for Neo's body as Niobe, The Merovingian and Agent Grey rally their followers, culminating in another live global event.

WBIE and Monolith are focused on bringing The Matrix Online to life through regularly scheduled live events, expanded gameplay, and the constant presence of the Monolith Live Events Team. As the schedule below demonstrates, the Live Events Team will be planning and running live events regularly throughout the next six months while continuing its ongoing constant presence inside the game.

I love the game...it's really a good game...minus the fact that it's really meant for 2 styles of combat: 1 on 1, or free combat (distance, guns/hacking)....and in a giant brawl, 1v1 is not what happens....but that is how some of the most fun characters are raised :P


on one hand, live events are cool...messages to everyone from morpheus or niobe or others, very creative and cool....

but live events means the servers are going to go down a million times again :P

if I know these devs, they've already got a plan in place for making sure the servers can handle the load. I just don't think that they were expecting the amount of people to participate that ended up there. Hopefully, this time around they'll be ready.
