ohh yea YOU CAN BUY YOUR LEVEL WITH $$ so you dont need to do anything :)

nice Trolling...

you can pay a very limited batch  of "xp" once a day with two ingame currencys indeed... but those two currency are easy to gain IN GAME... no need to use real $... only lazy very rich noobs will use real $ and well... conversion rate real-$/ingam-currency being so horrible, no one uses it....

Could you go try to troll an other game ? Wushu is definitly worth it, if you don't like it, have fun bashing an other game, kthx.

ohh strange becouse last time i played few ppl i know made max lvl in a day by using real money to level

lazy or rich who cares doesnt change the fact that you can do it

maybe conversion rate is horrible for you and rich ppl doesnt give a fk about it and just do it?

the fact is that you can do the exact same thing, I mean clicking the exact same xp button with what you can earn in huge amount in-game...on your own...

sure it shouldn't be an option to use real $... but it's their bizness model... stop hating just because of that...

This proves that you don't know anything about how AoW works. But nice try.

Ive been playing MMO's for a long time and no themepark has ever swept me up like this game.  Like many people have said...at first ithe combat can seem kind of clunky.  If you are looking for that instant gratification mindless button mash spam that has been long over used then AOW wont give it to you.

This is a game that you have to put a good deal more effort into than your average MMO to feel rewarded.  But in my experience it truly pays off and has kept me comin back like a twitching crack fiend needing a fix.  The combat has a depth that ive never experienced  before.   While it uses tab targeting and some other mechanics that is par for the course in any mmo, it truly shines with its parry, feint, attack system coupled with the flying abilities.

I currently have nearly maxed all my school styles and one jianhgu style (mantis) and now Im trying to master the finer nuances of them all.  At this point I pretty much have an answer for any given type of opponent and situation.  Doesnt mean I will win but it means I will have a gameplan.  The diversity of styles is bad ass.

Those who dont like the combat really havent progressed their character enough to really see the beauty of it.  Ive had some of the most fun in my recent gaming years with the guild wars and script steals.  You never know what can happen and fortunes can change over night.  Just today i was able to purchase a blacksmith workshop for 350L and turn around and sell it for almost 9D.  Thats about a 3000% profit margin!!   Just when I was worrying about money because I wanted to buy some new abilities BAM i find that gem.

Thats how it goes in AOW.  This game rewards patience and smarts.

MMORPGs are no longer about the mass multi-user anymore *sadly*

Same here. AoW felt to me like 'yet an other cheap Asian MMO'. Nothing new there and animation, graphics, sound and gameplay had totally nothing new to offer - it could have been done much batter actually. I really can't see the reason this game is hyped like it is.

Sure if you like cinematic theme parks, with same systems the industries been feeding you for the past 10 years. Questing, battlegrounds, dungeons.

Do you guys understand that you can take all 3 of those things out of AoW, and the core game would still remain with more content, more map than the last four "AAA" mmorpg releases?

Nah probably not. We as humans relate to past experience to understand, and we as gamers have never experienced anything like AoW.

Have fun with BS!

I like fun mmos and thats all. When I hear people hate on game because its a themepark I just laugh.I dont care if its a themepark or a sandbox as long as its polished and offers a fun experience. Maybe you have not experieced anything like AoW and thats good but for us that have experienced better Age Of Wushu to us is just another clunky combat low budget free to play game.

I think it's great that Age of Wushu has such a great fan base but that statement alone would be something to fend off some players.

There is a camp of players who want really fast "action" combat and there is a camp of players who want more slow but still "free form non-tabbing" "action combat".

Blazing fast combat wouldn't be on my list of good things. but certainly more power to players who seem to have found their game.

Hmm. I am now profoundly intrigued by this game -nay, masterstroke of perfection- that's apparently so far beyond anything us mere mortals have ever had the pleasure of experiencing that anything said to the contrary is immediately denied with such irrefutable evidence.

If what you say is true, it must be incredibly innovative and technically advanced (curiously absent from the videos), to the point where I can't even begin to fully appreciate its magnificence until... what was that level again? Nevertheless, I must now promptly go and waste-- er, "devote" my time to trying this out so that I too can become a fanb-- uh, fervent believer.

Exactly. No really, exactly that. Not joking. Nice post.

Sounds crazy, but yeah...

When I eat chocolate chip pie it just doesn't feel like chocolate chip cookies. The texture, the consistency, it's just not the same and this is disappointing.

Same here.  I read the title of this thread and almost died laughing.  Combat especially, locking me in place or to a slow crawl, was very annoying.  I didn't get very high in level though, so maybe it changes, but they better do something about the lower level movement if that's the case, because it was pitiful and bored me to tears.

 lol!  :D

Yeah this is hilarious. Like I said we relate new things to old experiences to try and understand.

Tell me what mmo you've played that's like AoW?

I've seen you habging around the forums. I hope you come back and answer. Innovation in this one is a 10. Without question.

When I eat chocolate chip pie it just doesn't feel like chocolate chip cookies. The texture, the consistency, it's just not the same and this is disappointing.

What the video can't convey is the raw speed of the game. It's blazing fast.

You are 100% correct.  I sware there are only maybe 10 really good players, I don't count myself as one. Everybody else can be beat, at any given time.

One of the special things about AoW is that you can play pure crafter/trader if you like.

Same here.  I read the title of this thread and almost died laughing.  Combat especially, locking me in place or to a slow crawl, was very annoying.  I didn't get very high in level though, so maybe it changes, but they better do something about the lower level movement if that's the case, because it was pitiful and bored me to tears.

It's nothing like GW2, TSW, RIFt, or Swtor.  Thing is, these can be grouped into the bunny hop spam catagory.

Before AoW, I would have told you how all 4 of those are different. After AoW, those are all the same.

I like the way that OP attempts to speak for everyone, mostly out of ignorance.

2011 called, wants it gameplay mechanics back.
