Originally posted by tintilinic fair enough - we havent heard what the endgame will be like for non-raiders yet
for now, only raids have been described in detail as part of the endgame so many people are assuming the worst that Wildstar will ONLY be raids at endgame

Originally posted by Nadia Yes, but usual answer is "wait and see" and in majority of that "wait and see" turns out to be the worst and then those who said "wait and see" change it to "take it or leave it its how it is stop whining go back to "insert not loved MMO"... One thing they have to understand people dont want 5th rate content 8yah not even second rate) and while they say and promise solo endgame....i aprove people questioning it ;P |

This is the most useless and uninformative statement that is ever made, every time a new MMO is released. It's like each time someone starts one of these stupid threads, they think they've stumbled upon some big state secret that they have to reveal to the world. Do you honestly think that this exact same statement hasn't been applied to nearly evvery MMORPG in the last 9 years? It has lost any meaning whatsoever because people abuse it in a self-serving fashion to to denigrate games that aren't being developed to suit them. We get it, you've condemend it in your mind as a clone because it's not designed around your wants, fine. Move on and stop making ridiculous generalized statements that are made with the release of every single MMO that's come out in the last 9 years.

The problem is that the game was advertised as a sandpark, but I really don't see much sand right now.

Just wanted to correct some mis-information on this thread. Housing was in mmo's way before DAoC and so was dying objects. Actualy housing was kind of a normal feature back in the day. Now its rarely done.

Originally posted by Karteli Totally not interested in the game now. I was willing to look past some of the handholding if the housing was done good. UO housing was my favorite. Player vendors and all...Disappointing that yet another game is going WoW clone with a few added features tacked on.

The fact they're focusing on instances as the core for their PvP system makes it an automatic no buy for me. TESO has the type of PvP I want (DAOC style RvR), so that's probably the only MMO I'll buy this year.
