Awesome, might have a look at the game then. Capped this month so have to wait for a bit.
This isn't a signature, you just think it is. |

Not sureif it's what the OP intended (the post actually sounds a bit like an attempt at reverse psychology to me), but reading it is actually making me think about trying this game when I wasn't that interested in it in the first place
What can men do against such reckless hate? |

Yeah a lot of people cry about thison the forums. I didn't care much for the game, but the pvp system is something I wish all mmos would copy. It allows people to pvp, but when they are jerks about it they get paid back in full. Look at most pvp servers. How many times do you get ganked lvling? Someone asked is it fair to face this harsh penalty just for killing 30 people. Since it was must likely ganking lower levels, then yeah. If a person screws over other players, because its an easy fun? kill then face the music. People kill newbies because its low risk right? Suddenly a game adds risk and people cry. There is an easy fix to the op's problem. Delete the character, start over and don't make the same mistakes. |

To the OP.. No you just can't log in to aimlessly kill people the entire time without any worry for punishment from people if you are that "leet' or w/e that no one can beat you most times. It's in there to balance the people who just want to slaughter without repercussions. The system isn't perfect but it's not the worst thing out there and not many games these days even take the time to consider implementing such mechanics. I don't normally say this, but maybe the game just isn't for you and your playstyle.. |

You may be a griefing butthole but I agree with you. Using game time hours to serve a sentence like that is outrageous. Not being able to play for 3 days real life time is more than enough punishment for basically any in-game offense not including cheats/hacks. No way I would put up with that especially if I were a subscriber. They essentially banned your for a month you have to pay for.....and then expect you to keep paying.

Originally posted by Swiftrevoir You should know the OP's sentance is not really the average time served. I'd place the average time served somewhere between 1-3 hours. The OP not only crossed over into the threshold of jail time but more than likely got some type of bounty set on him which would increase his time even more. Also jail time and prision time are two different types of imprisionment. Jail time is normally shorter and you are able to bribe your way out, and even escape. Prison time you cannot bribe or pay your way out. Prison time comes when you have been bountied by a player you intiated attack on and killed. If you are up to be executed you also have the chance to escape the beheading an hour before, but you need some fairly strong friends to help you. If you escape then you are not going to have to worry about the beheading and the extra 24 hour debuff. The OP's case although not completely rare, is one of the more extream cases of being imprisoned. He could've easly avoided such a long sentance if he had chilled a bit.. Killed a few people, maybe find a begger to lower his infamy for him, and then continued on again after his infamy had lowered more.. More than likely, he logged in and just started attacking and killing all the newbies he saw in the starter town, until some guildie of one of his victims came around and put him in his place. Namely prison.. Really not an issue with the system in Age of Wushu but more so problems with the OP's decisions in game.. /thread |

It sounds like the system is working perfectly. OP was griefing noobs and is now paying the penalty for it. There should be consequences for killing people who have no chance of fighting back. You're not doing it for the challenge or the loot, you're doing it to ruin their night. Why would anyone sympathize with you?

I've been meaning to give this game a try and admittedly this has made me even more wary, but I and the OP have clearly different ways of going about things. So long as I don't go wantonly ravaging the newbie areas this shouldn't be a problem I assume. I usually play the white hat anyway but If I choose to don a black one I'd like to know this doesn't happen except to the most special cases of Wushu-troll. BTW I still feel for you OP, that's a tough sentence(if it wasn't ban worthy) in a game no matter what the circumstances. |

Were you the 200 liang (silver for those that don't play) bounty I saw someone post the other day? lol I was doing team practice and saw that put up and laughed and said to my friends someone really pissed another player off. And that was the largest bounty I had ever seen while playing.

You might not want to go on rampant pk or else you'll do the time ;/ If you're gonna murder someone it better be worth it. |

Clearly the OP is killing lots of people and maybe even from his own school, people he goes instance with and have a very smelly repuatation till no guild wants him. So now a selfish bastard who only cares about killing people who are maybe even defenseless think that he should not feel some pain after he was caught by a constable. |

Originally posted by smokefin Just bust out of jail with other jailed players, it is a mmo afterall, talk to your cellmates if you dont want to be in jail and devise a plan. And as they said, do the crime, do the time. Read the digital manual to the game for future reference to see what your getting yourself into and how to play the game. |

Originally posted by smokefin 72 hours is not 26 days, leave your pc on not hard to do.
It's PVP with consequences ehich games seem to have forgotten these days, makes things alot more fun dont like it dont pvp in zones where consequences are applied. I forget what the timers were like in ultima but im sure it was longer than 72 hours |
