No, I'm not a mod at the Mourning forums, and yes, I've been following this game for a while. I haven't said that the preorder stuff isn't wrong. It's wrong, and I won't try to defend it, but this Jesse guy hasn't said anything about the preorder stuff, he just seems to referring to stuff where people whine about having free play time etc.

Anyways, I'm with you guys when it comes to billing the boxes, that's just wrong imho...

Are you really a moderator from Mourning forums? Becuase there is NO EXCUSE for fake adverts & breaking agrements (Im betting thats the fault of admakers & not anyone involved with Mourning, correct?).

Being a fan of the game doesnt mean that your brain goes missing, alot of true fans are pissed about the so called "bussines actions" from Mourning.

Right now im waiting for people to post a picture of a generic looking cd-r with the Mourning beta client, the box being just "plain looking" & the manual missing.
Why? Becuase ANY GAME COMPANY makes sure that its fans do not worry about fake info, right now Egomancer is avoiding to answer any questions. There is no info about box art, info on what company is shipping it, NOTHING. Just "Boxes have been shipped"....(Why is Ego the only one taking shit always, let rest of the dev team get "there fishes warm" also).

(Actually a 2 day old account claiming to be working for the shipping company poped up yesterday, a freaking mod confirmed that he works for the company, where are the devs? Do note the name of the company, then do a google search on the name. Then click on the link from C-Net to see the company be related to email spam (along with that "ISP-company from florida").

What is there to be a fan of? All this "can be a fantastic game" is screamed EVERY time a game is in beta, I will not be surprised if this Mourning debacle ends in a history worthy of Horizons. Please do avoid "can be great game" its old & does not mean the game will be "all that"

Click on my links that I have provided in previous posts & read the what the mods are posting. If you still dont get it you really need to hone your reading & comprehension skills.

Also this whole business is a scam since it was the current beta build being sent out to take the pre-order money. A pre-order can only be sent if its the finished product being shipped not the current beta.

Well there is another thread I would LOVE to post here but it leads to links that would make a Marine blush. In essence it highlights the farcical level things have reached over at the aptly named Mourning.

Those of you that have been following this long enough to remember all the BS from people like Julie Blue, AKA sorrow, AKA -insert name here- would really get a charge out of it. Go do some careful reading of the current threads in general and youll see what Im talking about.

Im not surprised they have removed the links to the forum posting rules, because they have gone from not allowing the word bum to fully open verbal combat with an adults only rating.

Suffice to say as we have all seen, the forums for this game are the most entertaining thing about it

Well i thought i would just waste their space on their forums because they wasted my time... well i thought i concelled my preorder months ago and yet some how they still took my money. but i have this nice new paper weight for my desk. i didn't even get the elusive white box. my cd came in an unmarked dvd case with stamps on it. when i saw it in the mail i was like holy ****ing **** the unibomber strikes again! being fearless as i am i opened it anyway. much to my suprise there was a white cd that says simply mourning. I was like dude what the **** i would have rather gotten a bomb than this what a rip! so i put it in my cd drive and pow! biff! bam! nothing... that ****ing disk isn't even readable(and yes my drive works fine). Thanks alot limited horizon you sure have made a product that everyone must have and will want.

The people who still stick up for this game over there really need to give it up.  I know alot of them put many hours creating lore for a world that will never come to fruition, but there dreams are dieing along with Mourning. 

With above said really look at the logic.  They charged and said it was a mistake but it is also believed the game is in financial trouble hence the half-price pay beta idea that is being discussed there.  So these lead me to belive (also consulting my magic 8-ball) that..... get ready for wild speculation....

The game has already been canceled.  I belive who ever was in charge of the money over there did not like what he or she was seeing and wanted out the only way he or she could re-coup a investment he or she had to ship out his 3rd world program and put the servers up all at basement prices and all just enough to avoid the law.

That has got to be one of the ugliest things I've seen in ages- it's about the quality of Luclin stage EQ. Knight Online has better graphics than that.

That is exactly what I was thinking when I saw the screenshots, that they had reinvented a graphics engine with the quality of EQ 1 SoL. Thats about as good as I can say it gets. I have yet to see any decent screenshots of the game.
