For a game that's suppose to be shipping pre-order games "soon" (right...), there isn't the usual game launch hype. They can't even give us a trailer ... haha! Great SCAM though!

So at the moment the game is in a complete mess.
We don't know if the Devs or Dave have some frau*dulent intentions(see PS at the bottom), or if all of this situation is just a big accident caused by the fact that the Company has limited founds and resources.
So they don't have the right people or tools to help them to manage this game properly.

We will see about that.

PS: I discovered that they banned the word FRAU*D while you can easily write PISS. That could be an hint

For some unknown reason the preorders have been charged Friday evening. They were supposed to be charged either this evening (Monday) or tomorrow evening.

The CDs will be sent either today (some of them) either tomorrow(most of them). At least this is the info we have.

The normal practice is to charge people BEFORE sending the object. If you know a case where you are charged for a game box after you recveive it please let me know because I want to buy.

I will post more about this after I read the thread.

I do not know from where you got the idea that there will be no game CD/Box ... and the people have been billed 24h before actually sending the product, which doesn't seem illegal.

Actually the real egomancer on the official forum has acknowledged that the egomancer account here is truly him. I don't think considering it a fake one at this point would be sensible.

I thought you said that mmoprg.com is a joke and that you dont go here anymore after being "ripped off by blizzard fanboys"(cant really understand english sometimes). Save the excuses buddy. You randomly and without warning charaged people for a game in a alpha/beta state(which is not what they ordered- they ordered a full game and "charaged when the game ships"). When people ask for a refund/cancel, your friend Dave says thats a negative. Then you refuse a real comment/explaination for 4 days, which is very classy. Doesn't matter now I guess, your NDA is gone, and even your best fanboys admit the game is NO WHERE NEAR READY. Why release early? Your greedy, and like to pass blame to other people(Those damn billing people!!!).

Well, I for one am anxious to see how this whole situation turns out. If you really don't know how this SCAM idea started I suggest you fire your management team and get better employees. Updates are vital to all MMORPG's and you seem to be lacking in that area (Actually it pretty much non-existant). And please work on your website. Awesome looking game, but your website sucks.

All you beta testers should step forward now as there's so many questions I would like to ask.

Some folks seem to think this has more complexity than it actually does.

So lets just get it straight.

People who pre-ordered, did so in order to recieve a finished product via some means, either downloading or a disk in the post.

As a bonus to their pre-order they would be allowed into one of the final stages of Beta, ahead of the "general public", if there was a final open beta.

The pre-order agreement clearly stated that no charges would be made until the final version of the product shipped (normal stuff).

What has actually happened is that the product has not shipped, nor does it have a confirmed shipping date. The cards have been charged and no game has been shipped.

Nowhere in the pre-order agreement does it say that people would be charged to take part in the Beta alone. In fact, I repeat, the pre-order agreement stated that no charges would be made until the final product shipped.

So in the abscence of any fixed date for shipping the product. People have been charged for nothing.

If this is not a scam, if this is not fraud, what is it ?
