Why?  because MMO communities can't possibly consist of people who enjoy FPS as well?  That's silly.

 

I have to agree with Cal - the game was average.  Nothing that goes above and beyond in it.  IF you like it, great, more power to you.

Is this community any different than any other online community?  Again, I fail to see why you think that people here woulden't enjoy an FPS?  My experience here is that there is a diverse population of online game players that hang around here, PvPers, PvEers, vets, new players, console players, curious people.  

I don't see how Defiance being a FPS has anything to do with Cal or me thinking it's average.  Without breaking NDA my complaints center around the PvP aspect. but this is all irrelevent.

Tried it. Not bad. But i wouldn't waste my money on it. If it was free to play i would probably give it another try.

For this type of games, i would install something like APB before this one.

Game is fine, finally an MMO shooter with both PvE and PvP that doesn't look/play like Golden Eye. Complaining about PvP in a game that still in alpha stage is retarded. There is a lot of balancing left to do.

I will definitely pre-order, but once it's closer to release date. I want to see how they go about fixing the bugs.

So it is ok for you judge the game by saying you enjoyed it, but he did not play long enough to form an opinion?

LOL APB before this now thats a joke. This game smokes APB hands down. I'll be picking this up and its nice to see that its buy2play. The game will change over time as all mmos do. I love the game for what it is and I had a blast in beta. Can't wait for the next one so I can keep giving feedback to make it a better game since Trion is one of the few companys that listen to the community. 

Its a nice change to the mmo market for me, I'm a little tired of dragons and trolls
