The doctors say his chances are 50/50...but there's only a 10% chance of that. |

Originally posted by Eir_S I played WoW for a while. Never hit max level. Spent a ton of time PvPing in open world areas, which I found much more fun than the prospect of repeatedly killing the same 'boss' over and over and over at max level. I also did other things than PvP, but of course those things didn't exist because I didn't hit max level? lol....................
With regards to Guild Wars 2, I'm still waiting for them to implement the exciting features they talked about in their manifesto video which aren't in the game. By the way, "max level" itself is a silly concept, especially when expansions add more levels, and gear is the reason to keep playing. Get better gear to do a dungeon to get better gear...forever. Yeah, real fun? As an aside, I've never hit max level in EVE, nor run out of things to do and try. Funny how that works. El Psy Congroo |

Other than End-game raiding, please list the things you can do ONLY at max level Mr. WoW vet of 4 years. (i.e what can you NOT do at all during 1-89)

Originally posted by HorrorScope This is a big plus to the game for me as well. I'm finally getting around to trying for 100% world completion, while not letting the "check list" for each zone push me to rush through each zone. I'm taking my time enjoying the environments and I continue to be blown away at how massive the environments are, while still being very clearly hand crafted, rather than randomly genrated or copy/pasted. I don't think you need to be an Explorer type to enjoy the game, but people who love world exploration can't expect much more than what GW2 has to offer. I've said it before, this is a game where there is almost to much to do and see. I'm closing in on 800 hours played between two accounts and I'm still discovering things and places I haven't experienced before. Want to know more about GW2 and why there is so much buzz? End game is what you make of it. In my guild (pain intended - Ring of Fire server) the level 80''s make there own end game, by helping new guilders and old ones doing dungeons in story or explore mode, taking people on jumping puzzles. There is also World vs world, and PvP to do. I've done raids in wow, and I found them frustrating and genrally boring, due to doing the same bosses over and over, just learning the sequence of attacks from wiki. Frustrating if you had to roll on some gear that someone might pinch to sell or ppl leaving, nerd Rae etc. Plus helping others at the same level makes it more of a challenge then just 1 killing everything in the lower level areas. |
