Backstory: Built this PC in Jan 2011, first ever build with the help of a buddy. Played a few MMOs: DCUO, Aion, and Tera were the biggest. Had some unsolvable problem with GW2 so I'm wondering if this needs upgraded. I'm looking at getting another 4 GB RAM in Feb/March. Any help/comments/suggestions to a complete rookie?

The hardware is a few years old, but should still have plenty of performance for pretty much anything. If you've got an itch to upgrade, you could add an SSD, but otherwise, I'd say to just stay with it until you run into a game where it doesn't perform well enough.
