I had the opportunity to run a 150+ member guild web site, as well as a hundreds of member community site (for a short duration), and all I can say, is I would rather have them be hypocrites, and ban or suspend people for being shit heads, than be like other sites, which allow all kinds of trolling and political bull crap go on the forums. So I can't say the F word on the forums, and they can in their videos... who cares? I don't cuss around my mom, but I do in front of my friends... does that make me a hypocrite? We have forum rules for a reason, and if you are getting banned or suspended, perhaps you should put more effort into monitoring your own behavior, before worrying about other peoples. |
