Really? You don't see the mount runs into older dungeons in WOW?

In fact, this is also not true in D3 (while not a MMO, running tier content is the same compared to many MMO). Many will do MP0 for xp, mid MP for loot runs, and high grouped MP for uber and keys.

It depends on what is doable, fun, and reward. MIddle content is being done everyday in many games.

I do see them, i did them, i was exalted waterlords in wotlk, but never got the charger.

But i also know, that if i dont argue from the pov of "common man", you or someone else will brush off the comment with "pfft, how many people do this?", the same way as is commonly argued that Sunwell was wasted content, because most people were not able to see it before wotlk came.

Because people did kill world bosses, azuregos and other lv60 dragons for the quests and items, the outland bosses for money (until they stopped dropping it) the same as they killed onyxia for scales and the cloak recipe, mc for reps and recipes and so on.

The only actual ''massive'' mmo i've experienced so far has been Darkfall (non instanced and sieges with more than 700 people on each side) but you needed a pretty damn good pc to play it without lag

Im just saying that people will do what will get them the best possible gear as soon as possible, and we are missing the situation where world bosses give the best gear for a reference on what would be more popular, world bosses were not treated as full fledged 40man content even in the old days.

As for your 3 years, it is once again the separate realities we live in, the lv60 dragons, Kazzak and Doomsomething at the black temple (its not my day today) were constantly dead where i played (i know because "I" wanted to kill them :) ), up until they nerfed the gold drops, atleast we could do the quests...

And interesting way to do a 180 :)

I never said I didn't like world bosses. Only that they weren't popular content compared to raids and that instituting a world boss is easier than setting up a raid with raid bosses.

I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.

The conjecture part applied only to your statement about popularity, but ofcourse you would misread that :)

And you have a developer saying that creating 3+ zones with 5+ wold bosses each is more easy than creating a single raid with 5+ bosses and trash? Specifically in rift where they reuse entire instance areas?

There is a reason why there aren't more of them. "massive" is not really required for many core mmo activities like dungeons and raids.
