GW2 doesn't get bashed, particularly -- certainly not anywhere near what ToR, MO, or WoW, to name three, do. Hell, it doesn't get bashed a tiny fraction as much as it probably deserves. Honestly one of the oddest things to me about the GW2 fanbase has been how incredibly defensive and hyper-sensitive they tend to be. You expect some of that out of any fanbase, but with GW2 it is blown absurdly out of proportion. With most games by now the hype train would have reached the station and people who really like the game would have toned down the evangalizing to something closer to sanity and those that don't like it will have moved on. But with GW2 it's like a fair percentage of the playerbase can't let the hype train end no matter how battered and beaten it might be. It's derailed, for god's sake, and yet they're still trying to ride it. Weird, and more than a tad pathetic. |

Instead of accusing everyone of being a hater, love the game you love, and enjoy it. Just because I don't enjoy GW2 doesn't make me a hater. I bought the damn game.

They don't like it and they don't want you to like it. So they bash it. They want to "save you" from wasting your precious time EVEN THOUGH you're having a good time.
People have been bashing games since the dawn of the internet. That's just a hobby for some people I guess.

I will say it is a great game... just not MY type of game. All you do is fight/kill things and I don't like when that is ALL you do. That's why I've lost interest in about every mmorpg I've played.

people love to bash every single game on this site , if you think guild wars 2 is so bad read the swtor forums more here and see how much worse it is in this community. Also Guild Wars 2 gets bashed because some people on this site worship it like its some demigod or something and anyone that points out its MANY flaws gets flogged to death and called about every name imaginable. Also I hate the game because of a certain lying ass dev that made a whole ton of promises just to get me and friends to buy boxes and it was just PR spin and never planned in the first place.
