Does anyone know how exactly this is going to work? I read some articles about how you pick a main role and a secondary role. Each role has 4 skills and an ultimate but you can't use the secondarys ultimate. Using the secondaries skills costs more stamina/mana etc. But is the leveling up and improvment of skills completely gone from the game now? Seems kind of lame and like they took one avenue of character progression out if thats the case.

I don't think that is known yet. My guess is that you will still need to grind and meet certain prerequisites. Once met then you can play that role. I'm sure the skills will still level up the same but hope AV still keeps the grind to be pvp viable minimal.

Crafting is something everyone can pick up, it wont affect your PvP performance abit. Quite lame craftingsystem in DF UW. |

Imnot sure what you are saying here. Of course everyone can pick up crafting. Why wouldnt they? Not sure how its gonna work in DF UW but in DF 1 crafting/gathering affected your skills. For example, if you mined a rock your strength skill would increase. Crafters were the first to get max stats on those skills. Also Crafting directly affects PvP. Since all gear, weapons, enchants, siege equipement etc. are craftable. Dedicated crafters with maxed out skills can make the best of those. |

Originally posted by gchris7 Stats will be easy getting in DF UW, just as skills, there will be no dedicated crafters in DF UW since all will have the crafting skills.
