Mists for me is the best expansion to date, cata the worst - they're going the right way with the patches but I hit max level a month and a bit after Mists released and just never felt the itch to join my guild at end game, no fault of the game though it's as good as it's ever been. As some one has already said doesn't matter what Blizzard add to their game haters are gona hate and go to all kinds of lenghs to talk down any new feature or change. |

More dailies. Never saw that one coming. Dailies are for the people who don't have anything better to do with their day. Isn't it about time they changed dailies into weekly quests with higher reputation gains letting the people with families, jobs and lives enjoy the game too. That way they may just get some more subscribers, ie all the people who quit because of the daily quest repetition.

blizz knows the pvp niche is far from being a "majority" and so i doubt they would be making a major move in that direction for wow.

I think Blizzard have been very smart with this content.
Whenever they have tried to create open world PVP areas in the past they have had limited success. Now they are putting excellent PVE rewards into the new areas and placing Horde and Alliance players into close contact while they chase these rewards. This has given PVPers plenty of PVE targets.
Where it doesnt work is on PVE Servers. Since you are not PVP Flagged when you enter the new area the two factions can ignore each other and the zone becomes just another questing area. |

After 5.1 I'm starting to think that maybe Pandaria is even better than Burning Crusade, which was my favorite. Outland was an awesome place to explore, and The Black Temple and Kil'jaeden fights were the best raids ever in a game. I always wanted them to bring back the capturable objects in the open world, but they haven't done that since Burning Crusade...until now. They're back now :) I hope as this expansion progresses, and the War spreads, that other zones will have capturable positions added as well. There's nothing more fun than seeing 100 horde trample over 100 Alliance or vis versa. In Burning Crusade, I spent hours in Hellfire capping the areas, and now with 5.1 that feeling is back. To make them better is the war is zone wide, not just one little area of the zone. It goes all along the coast :) +1 MoP :)

I came back after skipping most of Cata and have been happy for the most part to have something decent to play after a bunch of disappointing games. CC is out of control in the game now though. It's always been bad but right now...I would type more but "You can't do that while you're feared" ....feel free to replace fear with any other of the 100 or so CC abilities.

As long as they don't change the rule sets on PvE servers, people can gank and grief each other to their hearts content, as far as I care. I totally burned out on WoW PvP, in my first year and a half on death wing (PvP) realm.

Wow was fun in highschool with my friends and only wow vanilla. BC destroyed it for me. Can't even imagine playing a game with the stationary gameplay again.

man , I hate dailys, I can't buy any valor gear because I have no reputation, so I don't even bother doing dungeons, lol... Maybe, someday I might actually suffer through enough dailys to have some reputation (. heh , if they allowed that pvp on pve most players wouldn't even be in those areas for the pve quests because of how cheap pvp cc abilities are... Yeah, gotta love dying to rogues because they pop out of stealth and chain stun lock, and how many times I died to rogues in pvp without getting to land a single hit, like there's any skill in that, Lol...

I still haven't exhausted what 5.0 offered, so this is great - I won't run out of content. As far as "stuff to do" goes WoW is so beyond anything else on the market it's offensive to even start comparing...
