Do you want some WVW Levels in Gw2? Same as pve levels 1-80 but for WvW. You can be Lvl 80 PvE and lvl 10 WvW. Same as sPvP levels.
If you do want them, how hard do you think it should be for one to achieve 1 level? Id say for each level add 10h of farming. Lvl 1 - 10h Lvl 2 - 20h. Twice as hard Lvl 3 - 30h and so on.
Why ? So actually it would be a difference between 1-2 and 4-5. Anything else in my oppinion it would be like PvE. 55 or 56, same thing. The bigger level you are, the more time you've spent in WvW, that means, usually a better player.
When im saying aprox 10h for each level, its mainly for action, just a reference, not 10h afk in WvW. Make it harder and people will love it.
What do u think ? |

If you see no good or you see no bad in a game, chances are you are bias. |

If they are going for 'competative' then really there shouldn't be... then again WvW is a joke in that its just zerg vs zerg with the side with more winning, often times escalated by exrtras jumping ship to the winner.

No WvW should be apart of the PvE process.
Now I "do" think there should be WvW levels that start accumalting after you hit level 80, somethign akin to a DAoC Realm Rank system would g oa long ways to giving meaning to WvW. This would also fix the server transfer bandwagoneers, have them lose all accumalated WvW ranks and put a 1 month moritorium on earning WvW ranks after a transfer.
Transfering should not be used as a means to jump to a winning side and if your desperate enough to do so then you need to not be able to get rewarded for doing so for a very long time. Transfering should only be used for PvE purposes to go to a server with either more friends to group up with or as a way to join a more populated server. |
