I pre-purchased for the head start as a loyal GW1 fan would have done and averaged 5-7 hours daily. I think that is more than adequate to make an informed decision on this game. I think you tldr'd the post but as said you are entitled to your opinion as I am to mine.

I guarantee if there was a big sign outside the movie theatre that said "if you are not satisfied with any of the films or conditions of our premises we will give you a refund" many of the posters in this thread would be first in the queue. He executed his rights as a customer of Arenanet because he perceived broken promises, he neither stole or freeloaded, he like the game upto the point of the Ascended/fractals patch.

He played, and enjoyed, what he bought. A-Net changed the game. He was not happy with the changes. He asked for a refund for the game he bought, played, and enjoyed because of the changes. Totally different.

Yes, A-Net gave him the refund. Yes, what he did was "legal" and within his rights. Yes, he is morally corrupt and enjoys stealing software. He even posts about it on a forum.

Was the game you purchased the game they promised? Don't go to the "They made changes, WAHHHHH!" argument. Won't hold up in ANY court of law. Name me ONE MMO that has never made gameplay changes. Just ONE.

You are a thief. You bought a game, played AND enjoyed it. They made changes. Now you feel "justified" in playing the game you enjoyed for free. You have mastered the "rationalization" skill to the max.

I think its sad, people abusing stupid laws to fund their owneconnomy, if they could prove the hours he played they would have won before any judge
