I just started using it with GW2 a few days back.  Got it fine tweaked to GW2 and it looks really great. 

Some may not realize, not only does it give a graphical bump, but SweetFX uses your GPU not your CPU.  So it can drastically aid in making a game run smoother, as you can turn a few graphical options to low in GW2 and there will be no difference while using SweetFX, except that your game should run better while looking great.  Some say to turn all the graphical options on low, but you probably shouldn't do that, as some of them still do have a very noticeble affect on grame graphics.  But on some options, yea, you can turn them down and there won't be a difference. 

I plan to try SweetFX with many games in the future.  I'm thrilled with it so far.

Thanks! I got two issues that I need to work on and I think it will be pretty much exactly the way I want it. I need to lighten up the red just a tad as I think its a little to dark and I need to lighten up my shadows just a bit because when I get into dark corners and such, I have to turn sweetfx off just to see in the corners. Which frankly I think if its dark it should be hard to see, but in an mmo that might cause me to miss something or someone completely.

I have everything set on as high as it goes in game and sweetfx caused me around 5-7fps downgrade. I am still in the upper 60's to lower 70's so well worth the small loss for a more vibrant and dark world.

I have everything on high too, but havent really noticed any fps drop because of sweetfx. Problem is we are all probably running different gpus etc. But for a more beautiful game 5-7fps lost isnt bad at all. Cant even notice with the naked eye. hehe.

Well if you have a good power supply and very decent cooling in your system you could try downloading an app that disables CPU parking and I've heard that can help things in general.  A lot of folks say that can drastically increase FPS if you need that. 

That's if you have CPU parking on your PC.   I don't think I do so for me its not an issue. 

You can research this yourself and it shouldn't take you long.  That's if you care to bother.  But don't do it if you just have moderate cooling of your PC.  Personally I don't mess with that kind of thing because I only have moderate PC knowledge and I'm paranoid of tinkering too much with things that already work fine.

all you have to do is unzip everything, about 31files and put it into the main folder of your game

then open up file "SweetFX_settings" and change whatever you like to your preference.

you can do it on the fly to see how it looks in-game, just make sure to save to see it. I believe "Pause/Break" will reload the settings saved and "Scroll Lock" turns your settings on and off if you want to see the difference.

Extremely easy and hard at the same time. The easy part, get the sweetfx configurator. it makes installing and uninstalling super easy. You run the configurator, tell it where the game exe is your wanting to add sweetfx to, then tell it to install. The uninstall is just as easy. The hard part is figuring out what settings you want to use. the configurator gives you a semi graphical user interface to the ini file and describes a little bit of some of the things the ini does. I really like the configurator as it makes things a little easier.

Its pretty simple. all you do is download and extract the files to the game folder and play with the "SweetFX_settings" file settings. Theres quite a bit of options for you to change around, at first it might look overwhelming but its really simple imho. You probably will love it once you see the difference.
