Just needed to vent because the Clock Tower from Halloween event is driving me crazy.
I need to complete it to get my achievement unlocked, but unfortunately, because of the size of my character and because there are always 10 other people running with me I can never see myself and ALWAYS make a silly mistake and fall somewhere in the middle. Sometimes, I think it's me jumping, but it ends up being someone else and sometimes other bigger characters cover me completely so I can't even see where I'm jumping to. tried it 50 times now, still can't get it. Why do I keep trying? omg it'll drive me crazy
I really love every other level they added and the hide n seek one is by far most fun I had in a MMO PVP since DAOC. not sure why it's so exciting. probably because of all the adrenaline and the hiding part. |

I simply stopped after maybe 1 hour of trying... a very frustrating experience. I gave up on that but I did everything else event related and had much fun. I guess It's just too hard for me...

here's a video to make you even more mad:P I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg |

I luved it! It took me over 4 hours but once you do it once it kind of becomes easy. I can do almost all the time now. Lots of fun and frustration.

I'm not a fan of jumping puzzles, especially in MMOs, so I just simply didn't do it..

My god man, that was worse than being Rick-rolled. What's the matter with you :P
When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world. |

Anyone ever get the impression that the devs at Anet are fans of the Alice games? Those had some crazy puzzles as well.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to play the Halloween event as much as I'd like so far, but I will be checking out the Tower tonight. Hope it doesn't kick my ass too bad! |

Baiting was quite unlike you I thought? Fun vid even if I don't see why anyone would bother making it. Fact remains that the experience is extremely different between races and that some races have more bugged cameras than others. Yes, even with the recent fix and shake off some races will have a constant zoom in/out which makes this otherwise fun puzzle annoying instead of fun. Most annoyances will probably be fixed next year so meh. Too much fun in other places so clocktower is not worth wasting more than ½-1 hour on. The partykick problem in instances is a much bigger problem so I hope that Anet will focus on fixing that before anything else PVE-related.

I spent about 5 hours in total and got pretty good for about half way but still sucked the rest of the way it was a good puzzle, but hell, I'll never do it again I really like all their halloween levels actually, but this by far was the most frustrating MMO experience I've had (in a good kind of way though)
