Any ideas? After 2 months I got 2 80s and full epics...and now I just can't find any fun in pvp or spvp.

play with friends get a group together and run tournys switch out builds and try differn't playstyles works for me at least.. for WvW i'd join a good WvW guild and play with them
I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg |

Originally posted by TigerAero I played every class and you are right, lack of any interesting specs other than condition and or crits has just made the pvp boring as crap. Its just a Zerg in all aspects. Lifegain/lifesteal necro is a joke, CC abililties are laugable, no dedicated healers I understand, but theres not even good hybrid healing, knockback and one second fears are just not that fun really. All in the supposed name of balance. However over 10k baseline abilities with under 3 second 20+ condition stacks, oh thats perfectly balanced. No one really plays support or control since there is no point.
Download other games and just rename the folder GW2, that might make the game more interesting. |

It's hard to enjoy it and it gets boring very fast unfortunately.
With usually only one spec being viable and a ridiculous amount of bugs/poor balancing it just wears you out.
Not to mention all the maps are annoying capture points layed out almost the same way and if you want to test new builds you can't duel you have to join Spvp and fight against eighteen trillion backstab spec thiefs looking to one shot you before they even become visible.
However WvW can be fun running with a group of 5 friends, but being nameless and having the enemies nameless just gets really boring and you start to feel like a random spec that means nothing. |

Are you a pvpier? Pvp aint for everyone and unfortunately in gw2 one BIG part of pvp they are missing is matchmaking. So if you are new to pvp you will have a hard time liking it.

Originally posted by Pivotelite Completely untrue. There are many ways to spec and be successful. Yes, there are bugs and balancing issues but compared to any other mmo at this point in their lifecycle I would say its the best Ive seen.
Again, exaggerations on the thief comment but when people make up their minds about not liking something they usually come up with bogus statements like this.
I agree that WvW should have names, not sure why Anet took that route. |

Originally posted by Kuppa Hardly, if I go into Spvp 50% of the players will be CnD/Backstab thieves and it's downright unplayable as an elementalist.

Originally posted by Pivotelite Its not downright unplayable as an elementalist, it's actually VERY playable as an elementalist. It is however limited in some ways to only dagger/dagger or staff which is a complaint. Yes, there are tons of backstab theifs(not 50%) in pug rounds though. They have been nerfed somewhat though and if you go to tourney play its a different story. |

Originally posted by Kuppa It's unplayable in the sense thieves are no fun to fight and all it takes is one thief 2 seconds to blow all your cooldowns and the other to CnD/Steal/Backstab you for 90% HP in a fraction of a second.
Honestly, I just don't see much variability in GW2 playstyles or maps and it just gets so repetitive after a while.

Originally posted by Pivotelite Its not, if it were people would only play thief. Again, if you are not a pvper this will be a though game to get into right now cause they have no matchmaking which is a big issue. But dealing with thiefs even before the nerf was easy if you knew what you were doing.
The maps do offer variety in the way they are set up and the side objectives to them. I would however like to see deathmatch and other types in the future as well. sPvP in ANY game is repetitive, don't expect to get any loot or rewards like in pve and enjoy it for what it is. I see many people in this site that want "something" out of pvping besides pvping, they eventually find it "repetitive". |

I dont understand, all I play is heart of the mists PvP anymore. I got bored chasing frogs and putting out fires in PvE. I've got a lvl 50 Warrior and I don't think I can make it to 80, but I'm pimping out some nice PvP gear (finally...).
Yeah, there are only 5 maps - but it's all builds and teamwork man. The team that's zerging is the team that's losing so jump into sPvP.
And I don't play WvW because my mac isn't good enough. But it's big and epic and I feel like a pretty unique and well done mmo experience imo. :D |

They've toned down thieves a bit, they no longer hit like trucks. All in all wvwvw still is about who has the most players.

Sounds like you need a guild that does sPvP and takes it serious.
