For me: 1. Lotro - enjoying the warbands - I just want the horse customisations :) 2. Darkfall - just playing a little in prep for DFUW - still enjoy the overall tension of knowing at any second someone could kick your ass 3. GW2 - mainly because of friends in the game - I like doing the daily heroics - the dragon fights are ok - I'll be playing this on and off for years so no great rush ========= Please keep this light and just explain what you like in the games you currently play. cheers
Playing: Lotro, DFUW |

Vanguard - fun to play classes, vast game world that I still havent completely fully explored yet, and also I dont have much time for playing anyway so even if there was something else great out there I wouldnt start it right now.

1) D3 - combat is super fun ... lots of skills to customize .. and you actually customize skills, instead of putting a point here and there. 2) Dishonored - great setting, fun powers, you can play stealth or action 3) Borderlands 2 - guns and lots of guns ... 4) Marvel Heroes - hopefully soon .. action RPG combat ... actual playable Marvel characters ... essentially Marvel Ultimate Alliance online with more content. |

Playing the following while waiting for Darkfall,UW... SWTOR: The personal Story. Instead of quest hubs---- Your literally going to save a planet and after youve done so its feels good. Plus Lightsabers kick arse! Warzones are fun. Played when it first came out but revisting and getting my character to cap this time around. Rift: Because best instanced housing ever is supposibly coming. And I like the Survival skill.

PS2 - "nuff said. Oh, and lots of XCOM:EU and Xenonauts as well. The games just keep sucking me in. I wanted to type something really smart as a reply to this subject, but the Scarlet Blade ad got me distracted and I forgot what I wanted to type. |

Battlefield 3 - because battlefield! Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - BECAUE BATTLEFIELD!! WoW: MoP - comfortable familiarity with just enough new stuff to piss me off by making me learn to love it all over again. Like a new season of a good show after they kill off a main character. |

Right now, GW2 takes all of my gaming time. I play it because I think it's the best video game I've ever played. Most recently, besides GW2, I've been mixing it up between Skyrim, Batman AC (both on PS3), LotRO, Civ IV and a third run through KOTOR 2 on my PC. But now, between GW2, Fantasy Football and real life, I'm pretty much tapped out for time. :) |

GW2 because I bought it already and there's no sub. While I enjoy the atmosphere and skillwheel of the Secret World far more it's just not worth a subscription to me. |

Right now a mix between GW2 and EQ*. Knew GW2 was going to be a pretty casual game for me so just taking my time, enjoying the DEs and all of that until they get a little stale and I stop for a bit. Crafting is alright and the leveling I'm still having quite a bit of fun with. Still playing EQ* even after years of playing the same game. Started with live back in 2000 and still one of the better games IMO out there.
Played: EQ1 (10 Years), Guild Wars, Rift, TERA Nytlok Sylas |

GW2. I still MY TERA account active as well. Most likely about to turn it off... If for some reason I grow bored with GW 2 I might end up trying RIFT again. |

I play Rift because it has so much to do and the dev team is incredible when it comes to listening to the players.

I play Rift because the devs give me my moneys worth every month. Themepark is not a sub genre, its an excuse. |

Mostly just playing the war z for the life like survival rush while I wait for DF:UW & Neverwinter. PS2 as well here and there but more so after launch.

WAR because it has very familiar controls, very smooth and balanced PvP/RvR. No game gives better PvP than it, and DaoC is out of question here since I never played it.

Mine is a case of why aren't you playing what you recently purchased:
1) LOTRO - I used my lifer points to buy ROR. My character is still in the Great River since I only play once a year when the expansions release. The Great River is horrendously boring and I'm in no rush to reach the level cap and end my yearly playing of LOTRO.
2) GW2 - I like the trinity - I don't like the wait. I don't like GW2 dungeon system and find WvWvW to be horrrible. It's nowhere near as fun as FPS games and has no real rewards.
3) Torchlight 2 - extremely shallow game. After about 60 hours I've played as much as I care to.
What I expect to play in the near future is: D3 when they fix a few more things and SWTOR F2P to level some alts.

Lotro - Mounted combat and music. Kind of like Hytbold too, just wish I wasn't limited to 5 dailies per day to rebuild it. GW2 - Waiting on content, but combat is fun. Game needs progression systems though WoW - Always a fun leveling game and great music. Needs more depth too. Rift - Like having tons of builds and multiple roles on one character, biding my time until expansion hits, and it's going to be a blast! |

Playing Asheron's Call.
It's the only game, to me, that has an awesomely diverse character creation, and completely open world to explore that I cannot find any where else save maybe UO. Couple that with zero hand holding, make your own way in the world and I keep coming back.
Honorary mention to Rift as I still dabble in that from time to time as well. I stayed subscribed just to support a quality devloper like Trion as well.
Einherjar_LC says: WTB the true successor to UO or Asheron's Call pst! |
