Hello,

I am quite new to video editing and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice.
I play on far shiverpeaks, backstab/stealth build thief ( build and equips are in the video).

Things to improve:
- Music selection, so that it actually fits the footage.
- FPS, not yet.. hopefully in two weeks.
- Figure out a way how to remove the chat without having big logo placed on it.
- Video editing overall.

Great video, and I don't say that about many.

I could care less about your editing and music selection, etc.. you're a skilled Thief and just watching you play was worth the time. Thanks for sharing your vid.

PS: Ok I lied about the music, playing a Pendulum track gets you extra points with me :P

Agreed, by the time I got to the chase scene were he kited three players around the map and then won the 3v1 by playing smart I was sold.

Always entertaining to watch good players in action, utilizing there class and build to the absolute fullest.

Irrelevant.

Instead of trying to belittle someone else, why don't you go make your own Thief video and post it here for others to critique. We'd love to see you fighting nothing but the absolute best of the best.

I have had fun creating the video playing with the editors altho i lack a lot of experience for example the way my items were posted, it looks like they were just copy pasted on it. The music right after the intro didn't transition that well and like our friend here i have had multiple complaints about the "skill" of the players. I have a few questions myself:

1) what did you think of the video quality? (graphics) Should i try to improve it? 

2) What about the speed part of the video? ( I increased speed on multiple occasions just to keep the video action packed).

3)Is there interest for 1vs1 fights even if they don't last that long?

4)How long do you think a video should be ? I was thinking of keeping them around 10-15 minutes. 

5) What did you think of the intro in complete form?

6) What kind of ending should there be?

1) There were no deaths in the videos except for the fight with the mesmer at the end i ended up getting killed by a group of players. My reasoning of editing that death out of the video is because the way i made my video, I created the video on my personal view ( what do i like to see in a video, Should it be constant action or should i just leave the footage alone, etc. ). I am not saying this was the best way of creating the video, but i am open to suggestions. Please keep it constructive it would help me a lot more than just asking the question so instead "why did you edit out your deaths? I would prefer to see them because .... ).

2) I can't read their minds, there might have been players that weren't playing at the top of their level. I have only recorded group fights for my first video never touched the record button unless i saw they were multiple players. I have received some feedback concerning the skill level and an interest in see'ing fights with "skilled" players. I will try my best to get some footage of that, but please keep in mind its quite hard to get good fights since the fights ussually don't last that long. 

Edit:

Completely forgot, i was thinking of remaking the entire intro. Making it more exciting intro, showing some skill play like for example showing the footage from around 48 seconds into the video where you see me roll ( around 53 seconds ) to dodge the thief and attack right from the back. Also i am playing around in after effects and might add up a 3d model of my thief throwing a dagger which will make the camera follow up on the dagger and hit a target ( undecided target).
