Look at the Lil'XT pet in WoW, you know the one that wouldn't shut up, saying such catch phrases as "I guess it doesn't bend that way!" or "I think I broke it...". Possibly the highest selling pet on Activision-Blizzards cash shop.

No, bad game is bad regardless of F2P or not. If nothing F2P makes the game worse by making it cash shop centric rather than gameplay centric.
