All idiots and low-toughness people. Atm if you know how to fight an warrior, any profession can make sure they dont lose a single health. Warriors is easy to play, but also very easy to counter |

I neither give in to the hype or hate. |

I'm pretty sure any decent warrior would use immobilize or knockdown before thousand blades + frenzy combo. That's where the majority of complaints are.

The biggest problem the game has atm is not imbalance between classes but the orgasm of spell effects that is happening in any semi-big WvW fight and prevents people, especially melee, to see what the kitten is happening next to them. Anet was warned in beta about the retarded amount of particle effects that fly around and well, nothing much changed. |

Cool, I eat warriors alive with my mesmer. They don't even stand a chance.

Originally posted by AzurePrower Balanced Stance followed by Bulls Charge/Throw Bolas typically. The thing is even with that it tends to still be easy as hell to avoud unless you are caught in the middle of an unorganized group fight.
The trouble with nerfing Warrior is that without that (highly predicitable and easily avoidable) 100B spam, what else do they really offer that is on par with other classes? |

Hundred blades warriors are easy to counter just like a pistol whip or heartseeker spamming thief...just wait for them to engage then pop a shield, invulnerability, anything, and then they are useless and will be stomped on by you.

Originally posted by pwain A hard hitting 100 blades warrior is very squishy, like any other burst dps class. You need to identify first of all that its a high dmg build. Then, dodge will do but if you do get caught in a cc before the burst comes you use your cc breakers. Its actually quite simple they are only as usefull as those initial couple of seconds when they release their burst then they have to hide. |

Originally posted by AzurePrower Easily countered with cc breakers, blink or dodge. The problem with thiefs was that it could be spammed way to much. Now the thiefs are down to only one trick, backstab. |

He's actually using more than 2 skills. Without might buffs hundred blades is sort of uselss. Not only that but these guys aren't even dodging. Want to beat a Warrior? Here's the trick. KITE, and when your done kiting, KITE SOME MORE. obviously if you stand still a melee class will wreck you. Overall good video though this guy actually know's how to use this type of warrior.

Originally posted by dobytime24 it's actually frenzy that really makes the 100 blades work.. without it the whole sequence takes far to long to get off.. but immobilize + frenzy + 100 blades can really mess people up.. but again like backstab thieves it's sort of a one trick pony thing.. it is fun to mess around with though I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. Agreed. Evicserate is fun to mess around with as well. But again once they blow cooldowns it's a waiting game. Frenzy hleps pull all the the hits of 100 blades off but might stacks make it hot for the15k everyone complains about.

Originally posted by Daddydazzle not too bad:).. i'm really not a fan of the GS on the warrior though.. sword/shield with hammer is an hell of a combo for solo and group fights i highly recommend it:) hopefully this weekend I can get some footage of some fights I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. Originally posted by Aerowyn thanks. still learning each class and the major builds. 100b warriors are all over the place so i figured it'd be the place to start as far as warriors go. fraps takes up so much space so i only record a vid or two at a time. i like goin over my footage afterwards to see what i can impove on. side note: wish we could get the mmorpg.com guild to come to Rall. *cough Experience is the best teacher.. if you can afford the tuition. |

Dodge roll = you just mitigated 100% of the damage. Learn to play. |

Originally posted by Daddydazzle Hammer & Mace/Mace is a more solid alternative than Hammer & Sword/Shield. You get much more bang for your buck, as the two sets synergise together immensely well. Sword/Shield does not synergise well with Hammer at all, some people just take it for the Shield Bash and Block. It's a poor choice to combine with Hammer as a mainset for a number of reasons. Hammer gives you: - Weakness - Snare - Knockback - Knockdown - Gap Closer (Earthshaker) - Stun (Earthshaker)
With Mace/Mace you get: - Block - Counterattack - Daze - Vulnerability - Knockdown - Stun
With Sword/Shield you get: - Bleed - Gap Closer - Snare - Stun - Block
The only thing Sword/Shield adds to the mix that cannot be achieved better with Mace/Mace, assuming a Hammer mainset, is a bleed a which is essentially useless to a Hammer warrior as they don't tend to be running condition builds anyway. The synergy between Hammer & Mace/Mace is amazing and as you can see above the combined CC options along with the added utility more than make up for the bleed and lackluster adrenaline ability from Sword/Shield. |
