Can you take a game seriously when you find out it has [LEGENDARY] weapons like this:

One would have to question what the art director is thinking at this point...and this is just one of many of the legendary items that seem questionable...and or out of place in Guild Wars.

I honestly can't believe such assets are in the game...though I also wouldnt be surprised if we found out there were a few female prop artist in Anet that would fancy such ...designs.

Anyways, am I alone in this assesment?

I already wrote on another thread that i have no problems with cute things, like baby quaggans and bear cubs (which are awesome!)

But this kind off stuff seriously pushes it to the limit. The 2 greatswords, Twlight and Sunrise, where amazing. I knew there was a pink, rainbow bow or something like that as a legendary, but, the unicorn and general design is just, well, wrong.

BTW, you already have a Legendary Weapon? Damm!

Also, when you shoot an arrow, does it leave a rainbow or pixie dust as a trail?

The game doesn't take its self seriously. This is why we also have aviator glasses. I don't expect this to be the end of the sillyness. It doesn't have anything to do with female prop artists. It has to do with an overall vision. That vision likely wasn't decided by female prop artists either.

Make no mistake, no way would I craft something so for lack of a better word, hideous, as that.

Someone was able to link to the legendary bow and this is just a preview.

Pretty positive noone has any legendaries yet, or has even made the pieces to get it. The epic needed to craft some of them has yet to be discovered on how its made as of yet.

Well last time I checked I wasn't one of the people employed to make decisions on what should and should not be allowed in GW2.

Now if you're asking do I find such game additions aesthetically pleasing? No I don't. I think that bow, and all the real world drivel in the cash shop look absoloutely fucking ridiculous.

THAT said I don't recall a law anywhere that said games can only be designed in ways that please ONLY me. So unless that bow is the ONLY legendary weapon choice for bows, I could give a shit.

I've been doing pretty well in WvW with shortbow. I'm sure It would likely cause me to get focused down though. LOL
