The 'maps' aren't super massive omg cover 100000000 kilometers, but the world itself is HUGE and engrossing. Every area just has some sort of flavor to it or puts you in a place where you're constantly beside yourself with curiousity. There's plenty to explore... Though quite a few HATERS here will probably pop in and try to convince you otherwise. See what I did there ;)

I'm finding just as much or more things to explore in GW2 than Skyrim, and I've already logged more hours in it. Skyrim's a good game, but I don't know why the two are being compared.
no GW2 won't kill WoW, but it's time to move on and quit worrying about those people still playing it. - eyelolled |

You don't need to grind dungeons for gear. You can craft the top gear.
You will get more out of pvp if you are in a guild though, but that applies to EVERY mmo. |
