So WvWvW is pretty much zerg vs zerg, and if your not in the zerg your getting facerolled by one. Im not on a high pop server and im afraid when they raise the WvW player cap that we will be doomed and ill be forced to transfer.

They are several videos of about 10 people holding off a zerg of 30.... I dont remember the video but it was absically a Guild of 10 people defending a SUPPLY CAMP, completely open. Skill helps a lot, I can even solo cap a supply camp (give me 10 to 15 minutes though lol).

WvW is designed for matches that last 2 full weeks. ArenaNet have them set to last 24 hours until they feel the servers have been ranked against each other well enough. |

it's not even about zergs. last week it was about zergs now it's about which server has the most geared level 80s
seriously this is getting really old. not just the zergs but the squads of level 80s that come through and just face roll three times their numbers, and you can't even touch them wtf is the point of being put in the same "braket" as level 80s if you can't even touch them? it's completely retarded. i've seen level 80s take on 4/5 people and kill them all simply because nobody could put a dent in them. if there are 30 or more levels in difference they take no damage whatsover. on my guardian (level 40) today, jumped a ranger and unloaded on him. he just stood there and pelted me in the face. i popped every cd/heal i hand and he 4 shot me! he didn't even lose 2% hp!!! friken bs.
so not only is it only a gian zerg fest, now it's a giant zerg fest where half the people you can't even touch damage wise. i knew this "one braket" shit would back fire. they better get it together and separate level 80s from the rest quick or i'm not sure i'm playing this game for that much longer. |

WvW is very disappointing. It was really the only feature in GW2 that could keep players long term. It's not even about queues and zergs... It's that there's no point to it all. No sense of accomplishment, no rivalry, no immersion.

seems none of you guys have played a battle with 3 good teams.. we had a crazy fun battle on Rall earlier today.. when you have a couple people in charge calling the shots on what to protect and what to take over and you actually have an oppenent that knows what they are doing the battles get pretty damn epic.. honestly haven't enjoyed PVP this much in years
I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg |

I've played team WvW. It's fun for a bit. But how often do you run into other organized teams? Not often. And say you begin to spark up a rivalry with other teams... Well that's all wiped in two weeks. No guild wars, no connection to my keeps or server, no vendetta against other players/teams. It's just bland. It has no heart.

A lot of eighties I know already quit or barely play. Not much to do except farm dungeons or WvW. I guess in that way its not so different from other themeparks.

I compare the WvWvW with RvR in Daoc. What I really miss in guild Wars 2 is the skald/minstrel/bard speed buff for the group. It is impossible to run as a group together like in Daoc. The 2nd point is that the cc is complete different. I know it is a new concept, but I do not like it very much. Daoc CC and daoc rupt worked very well.
But what I really miss is the possibilty to help my people. No bodyguard, no heals, no long time CC means my buddy is catched by the assist train and will die. No matter what I do, he will die. |

Well of course it's not about skill, massive group of people with siege weapons, where PvE gear comes into place what do you really expect lol? Go to Tournament mode in sPvP if you want to see some skill.
Remember... all I'm offering is the truth. Nothing more. |

I love people who think WvW is not about skill. They come in thinking being in a Zerg is all it takes to succeed. They come unprepared, lightly-minded and careless. While such people exist, i will have fun in WvW. I am a Thief. This is my story. |
