No matter what happens, I always seem to get a full inventory even after depositing collectables. Do you guys have any tips on being organized in this game? Thanks : ) |

If you cant use it,break it down for materials. If its a good green and you cant use it,auction it. Works for me.

take up leather working or tailoring.. you can make some 8 slot bags right off at the start... and you can alway change your crafting prefession later. you can add like 40 inv slot doing this real easy peasy
Watch your thoughts; they become words. |

Murchants all over the game to sell off trophies and junk and stuff your class does not use, and use the bank often. You can often salvage 50% of your stuff then deposit collectables. Thats about all I could say !

Always carry 2-3 salvage kits around to break down The unwanted items.
There are merchants everywhere all around the outposts, sell unwanted stuffs to them when you see one. That's what I do to help clear my inventory while on an adventure. |

salvage junk items vendor blues greens/yellows save to AH just sell your blues and junk whenever you hit a vendor and you shouldnt be ok, assuming you fill yourself with 8-10 slotters |

first i'd suggest getting a crafting prof that gives you bags. leather is easy to come by. second, i wouldn't suggest getting cooking started until you are higher level if you are using cooking as a prof. the reason is the preparation materials in cooking take too much room and that isn't good in the beginning.

don't recall anyone saying they would have infinite inventory. hmm smh
however other then the bank inventory, the inventory to carry around with you can be easily made in game for mats that don't cost a thing. :) |

Originally posted by Masa1 Except this isn't about your reading comprehension. It's about making the most of your inventory. OP, like others have said, carry salvage kits to make materials out of the loot you don't want and send it to the bank. Craft some bigger bags and if your still holding on to too much stuff, vivsit the mystic forge or sell it on the market. Either way you're making mats or making money. There is NO miracle patch. 95% of what you see in beta won't change by launch. Hope is not a stategy. |

You either buy inventory space or constantly play with your inventory. There is so many random drops, that it doesn't take long to fill up your inventory, I'd pick up armorsmith or leatherworking. Tailoring costs too much and is too hard to farm for. |

Try getting these bags to auto-sort stuff for you. |

Originally posted by Meowhead I made 8 slot boxes right away with armoursmithing, then upgraded to 10 slot boxes at around L30. By depositing collectibles and salvaging everything I can I play for hours with no problems at all. An occasional stop at a vendor to offload useless itmes and you're all set and you can do this as you work your way through a zone. As Meowhead said, how long do you need to go without a bank stop? And is that really such a big deal with the instant travel system? I wanted to drop an couple of items in my bank the other day and it took me all of 2 minutes to go to Divinity's Reach, drop the itms off and get back to where I was playing. Seriously, what's the problem? |

Originally posted by teakbois This is pretty much what I do as well, with 8-slot bags, although it's a good idea to check the market (which you can do from anywhere) while you are standing at a vendor to compare prices for the greens and (if any) yellows. In the current market, many greens and even yellows (leveling gear, not end gear) are going for around the same price as the vendor will pay you for them, and the vendor doesn't take a commission/listing fee. So in some cases you're better off just vendoring the green or yellow as well at this point in the game. |

Originally posted by jmcdermottuk This starts to get more expensive as you level, because waypoint costs vary not just by distance but by your character level. Between skill book costs, repair costs and waypoint costs, many players find themselves pinching their coppers as they advance in level, rather than rolling in the dough as is the case in other games -- here if you play the same way as you level, you will get poorer and not richer. My main is only 44 and has ~7g currently. But, I (1) don't die much, (2) don't ever use a waypoint in the zone or neighboring zone unless I know I am going to a very lucrative event (like open world raid type events) and (3) use the Mists method for going back to the cities for banking when needed (which, to be honest, I don't need to do often at all due to collectibles and using 8 slot bags and vendoring most everything above whites). So, I'm frugal, and I have accumulated some cash, but if I were waypointing around a lot or dying a lot in dungeons, I wouldn't have that cash amassed, and it's a good set of habits to get into for when money really gets tight later on. |

Originally posted by Gonzomike That is what I do as well. I always get 2 salvage kits and break down all crap into mats, and every time I see a vendor of any kind or a repairNPC I first sell all trash and anything I havnt broken downed yet. Green stuff I consider if I want to keep or not, lower is always trash except for the first 10 levels with an alt. And of course, see that you have at least 8 bags, preferably larger. Any armorsmith (light, medium, heavy) can make bags and they can make 8 bags from start already so if you dont craft either pick one and make some bags or have your guildcrafter do it for you. 4 bags are hopeless. |

Originally posted by Knightblast My point exactly. I agree with everything you say. I just used an example that it's not a huge problem to make a visit to the bank if you really have to, via waypoints or mists. The main point is that with easily acquired 8/10 slot bags and the use of slavage kits and vendors within the zones you should never run out of space. |

8 slot bags cost next to nothing in trade post , so buy them emidiately As for breaking things down to mats - i dont know. I do not craft. So vendoring stuff is better profit. |
