Gamigo has announced that a "small and manageable" number of beta applicants will be granted access to the first-ever event for Otherland. The limited closed beta is expected to kick off this weekend.
If you haven't already, head to the link above to sign up for beta testing. If you have already signed up, keep an eye on your email to see if you're one of the lucky few. Associate Editor: MMORPG.com |

I'm almost at the end of the second book - fingers crossed, I'm very intrigued by this project that seems to go into unexplored directions

Had the invite as well, but I'm in doubt if I'll play it with GW2 on my PC ;)

Tabletop RPG gaming since Chainmail and D&D was a blue book with some cheap plastic dice and a crayon. MMORPGing since MOOS/MUDS, when forums were just bulletin boards and players actually roleplayed their characters. |

The Otherland books of Tad Williams were a great read. Will be interesting to see how the MMO will end up to be. Unfortunately it can't be on the same level as was possible in the books :(
