I logged in @ 12:00am EST (3 hours prior to official head start) and the game was running very smooth. Played for 3 hours and logged off. I had no issues at all.

Woke up to get back in and it seems the witch hunt is on. How do people not understand how launches work by now?

Even your beloved WoW had a ton of downtime at launch.

that's not true.  i'm an american in nyc.  couldn't log on in the past 2 hours that i tried.

till now ( EU servers are down) and Anet said they are fixing it, and there is some high ping other then these two if you don't give links then me answer is : NO WAY KHOSY

anyway just a little P.S : its a head start not launch there is a diffrence

So this is what pisses me right off. When TOR or TSW has a "head start" and has issues, people say that it's actually a failed launch, as early access is basically a staggered opening. When gw2, does it, they defend it saying that it's not a launch...  so no one should be bitching... gotta love double standards.

sorry mate, you're in the red.  Patience is a virtue.  This happens all the time with mmo launches (as in it is common, exceptions do exist).

It'll be the worst launch ever until the next launch of another MMO. Let's say Planetside 2 is next in line for worst launch ever...

Current champion is GW2.. Let's go.

Um...nope. It's just a highly anticipated MMO launch. And diable and GW2 are a little different. Diablo is a ~single player game~, so there should be no reason as to why I can't just play offline. 

Let me put it this way, GW2 is one of the most anticipated MMOs in recent years. The fact is no hardware on earth can withstand the force of the amount of players hammering GW2 servers.
