Instead of posting in my other topic, I want to catch the eye of anyone who might have one of these cards, and see what your FPS in the game is like and what drivers you are using.

my wife was playing in the stress test using a GTX275. I'm not sure what drivers she has installed, but she's running Windows 7 64bit with 8GB of RAM and an i7 2600 CPU. She had no problems but wouldn't have recorded her FPS either. She would have her settings on high and I doubt she did any tweaking of any graphics settings.

will do. She's gone to bed so I will try to remember tomorrow about what driver version she is using.

GTX 295 - most recent drivers 6gb ram core 2 duo 3.0GHz 64 bit OS
I think i saw i post from you before about the gtx cards and you having issues.
I do believe though you were running a 32 bit system with 3gb of ram
I would defeinitly recommend upgrading to windows 7 64.... even if you have to get it free online lol.. I saw a drastic improvement in performance getting off vista 32 and going to windows 7 64 |

I ran it on an Alienware X51 with everything maxed without a problem. Looked awesome, no frame lag.

Tried those drivers in a recent stress test, really still very bad performance, even at lowest settings, even with no one around.
Going to put my old 8800 gts in next time, just to see what happens. |

I got around 20-30 fps in cities and 30-40 fps outside, but didn't do extensive testing on Saturdays Stresstest as it was really late and all I wanted to know was by general fps. To be honest I'm: 1 glad the game actually runs. 2 need to go back to windows 7 as I only put 8 on there because of blue screen issues, which were caused by something else and has since been resolved. My system is just to dated in my opinion, but no money for a new one at the moment. Don't even think the videocard is really the bottleneck here. Specs. AMD 64 X2 6000+ 6 Gig ram at 667 MHz Nvidia 250 GTS latest beta drivers Windows 8 consumer preview 64bit 1920x1080 resolution Used low-medium settings |
