Is there ever an objective review? (btw the answer is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO). The concept of a review automatically has a built in bias system.

whats new right? although eventually everyone will find "the game" for them if not well guess I feel bad for them. For someone who has played these games since they were text based I can easily say these past beta weekends have been the most fun I have had in a online game pretty much ever.  Label me what you want but I'm just happy to find a game that fits me and what I like in games in almost every aspect. 

I fully stated early what my 1-10 scale is, and my scores accurately reflect that scale.

10 - almost perfect, without any major flaws and barely any noticable minor flaws

9 - exceptional and far exceeds industry standards

8 - exceeds industry standards

7 - industry standard quality for a AAA scale production

6 - below industry standards, some noticable flaws

5 - multitude of noticable flaws and issues yet still functional as a whole

4 - borderline non-functional due to excess of flaws and issues

3 - barely functional due to excess of flaws and issues

2 - completely unfunctional / missing

1 - reserved for lies, fraud, deliberate misleading / contradictary - corrupt/immoral business practices etc.

I think bias is fine as long as the writer recognizes that and states solid resoning for his opinions, which BadSpock did. Eloquently.

What I suppose you meant to say was "He doesnt share my opinion, he must be a raging fanboi"

As for my impressions of the (p)review - it was excellent, and largely agrees with my own 'scorings' of the various elements of the game.

If we could find a detractor of the game willing to put in so much time and effort, insight and illustration into a critique of GW2, we might be on to something....

.... but then building a logical case for such a position is not something I would like to attempt - even if I wanted to - GW2 has quality in depth demonstrated from what we have all experienced ourselves, and there is no reasonable standpoint one can take to justify any credible prediction that this state of affairs does not apply across the unseen areas of the game.

That would be flying in the face of the plethora of evidence.

I do think opinion pieces have weight based off of the experience of the author.
