I found the PvE to be the best part of the game with a pretty good story and lots of stuff to do. I crafted alot to get a hang of what needs to be done when the game goes live. PvP was not that great, again it wasnt that enjoyable for me and not the main attraction of this game at this time. Chatting with others is really still very quiet, with the Map chat being the most active with QQ and other ramblings. I did see a few people asking for groups, I guess they never found one because they were asking for almost an hour. I haven't actually grouped up with anyone yet because there hasn't been a need too. At level 17 the game seemed to be moving along just fine experience wise. I still haven't got all of the 1-15 area 100% but was close with 94% completed. I did do all the hearts and some of the side quests by talking to random NPC's, also did all the skill point spots and red triangle jumping type quests. With not buying anything from the auction house or the game store I was able to get my crafting up to 43 in tailoring and 63 in Jewelry Crafting. I was able to deck myself out in some good level 15 jewelry but not able to make myself a complete set of level 15 gear yet. The tailoring materials are alot harder to get a hold of since Jute (cloth) only can found from salvaging other armor or found in dropped sacks, which seem to not drop enough as I would have liked. I played a Necromancer all weekend and had a great time learning how to work in my play style with what the Necro had to offer. Each BWE I was trying to focus on one profession, ones that I would not think I would enjoy being at the front of the line just to give them a shot. Last BWE was a Guardian, had fun with that class too. First BWE was a Thief, didnt like that as much so will probably not play that class at all. I still have no idea what I'm going to play as my main and will probably change even after launch do to my impulse to make alts. Not going to touch sPvP, I do not like it and think its a waste of time in all MMORPG's. If I wanted to play deathmatch I would play FPS games. Server vs Server got only a little of my attention today as I was pretty much done the 1-15 and felt it was time to give it another shot. Entered in and found my server was actually matched pretty well with the other 3 servers and it seemed even. Still feels alot like a zerg fest with little to no tactics being chatted into the Team chat. Didnt see a major guild on my team around where I was so was wondering who was directing our teams force, asked in chat but only got a couple answers from random people wondering the same thing. Left that Zone and hit up another one and there was actually people chatting, I then made my way to where they said they needed help picking up a Arrow Cart and building supplies before I left. I made my way down to a supply keep my team was taking and battled the little resistance we met until we reached the door, which had 3 people building rams. I aiding with in building one with the supplies I had as did others until we had all 3 rams functioning. After breaking down the door and storming the keep lord we took the keep. So I headed off to aid my team in another part of the zone that was assulting a castle, not before grabbing more supplies. (Always grab supplies!) Had a good time in WvW PvP this weekend, but really only was involved in it for a few hours this morning. As a single player I still found it hard to really get was everyone was doing because not alot of Team chat was being displayed about where people were needed. Not sure if guilds were just teamspeaking together or people just ignored the chat. I will be holding back joining a guild in the first few weeks because I want to play the game my way first before getting involved into the drama that guilds always have. But guilds are only going to play a small role in the WvW PvP, it is going to be heavily dependent on which server you choose, if you choose a shitty server the WvW will be just that, shitty. Choose wisley. I did enjoy the game so far from what I have experienced and can't wait to play the game next month. This is how it was for me at the last BWE. |

It looks like GW2 did live up to it's hype, areanet needs to finish polishing reducing lag and it will be an awesome game to play. The game literally has everything a player would want, adventure, rp, action, rpg,PvP,PvE. Looking at: The Repopulation |

Yes its the last BWE for everyone, this is how it was for me.
I agree with you Jonoku, the game is solid and is fun to play. There was alot of lag and I hope they get that ironed out. Other than the lag it was a pretty good Beta. Runs better than some finished games lol. |

A nice read, but i have to disagree with you on how guilds will not matter in WvW. If a guild has all their perks that are used for holding positions, they are gonna be a lot harder to take than a point held by a PUG group. Guilds and Alliances will play a huge part, maybe not straight away but in a few months thing will become a lot more strategic, and you will be able to see who the key groups are on your server. You will notice the guild banners on the castle walls, huge groups of players all wearing guild crested armour etc. Its exciting to think how things could turn out when the full 2 weekly battles start.
