Well I have been very disappointed in MMO's as of late so I decided to not watch or look at anything about this game except reading the forums until it came out. Well, I got the beta invite and this is the last before launch so what the hell lets just see where the game actually is.

Honestly, a little worried as I am older and pvp just isnt my thing. Once in a while I dable in it but its not a must have in a game for me.

Anyway, first off I have to give them Kudos for great download speeds, I was downloaded, up and running in no time at all.

The game loaded smoothly.... beautiful graphic design, cartoonish but with a real ALIVE look to it.

I love mages, elementalists and just spell casters but I have only ever fully leveled a warlock because they just seemed so dull and boring after a while. Dont move!! dammit!! try to get my spell off before I get my ass handed to me now

I said screw it and was going to try one in this game since I had seen conversations about how the elementalist was different in this game.

Plain and simple: Fucking awesome!!

I have not had this much fun, right off the bat and I never felt gimped at all and the more I just played the better my spells got it was just so refreshing. By far the greatest elementalist I have seen in any game! Of course this is my opinion.

I was constantly in action never wanting to slow down I mean to be able to flip through my different elements, dodging and rolling and still being able to cast decently was just FUN! GW2 is refreshing, I think they got a lot of things right where other companies have failed lately.

I like how the world has been so far compared to GW1. I have been able to go anywhere I want without hitting the invisible barriers. I like how they implemented the instancing and very little load time.

Honestly I see myself easily playing this game for a long time to come. The game is definately ready for release, played as smooth as any game I can remember and this is a beta build? GW2 does deserve the hype its been getting.

As stated this is my opinion so dont get your panties in a wad if you disagree.

You know why I loved this review?  Because it was clearly stated as your opinion, and you went through the whole thing without ruining everything by saying something like...

'and I don't understand how you could disagree with me' or 'people who don't think the way I do are (explective deleted) retarded'.

You have an opinion, you enjoy the game, good for you!

Why are most of the negative views crammed full of insults towards everybody who disagree with them? :/  Not that I'd like an insult-crammed review any better if it was positive.

This is a great example of somebody with an opinion, and sharing it, and not spending all their time derping out wondering how anybody could possible think otherwise.

Thanks! Been on this site for a long time but as you can see I dont post often just because of the facts you pointed out. Seems more people are interested in fighting about things instead of simply discussing the game. Just because i like something doesnt mean everyone will but I still wanted to share my thoughts.
