However, I think that Guild Wars 2 has a better WvWvW (world PvP) set up than TSW and an overall better world settting. This is just my opinion.

If the percentage of bugs is less than .05%, then yes, dont postpone it. We want developers to start launching close to bug free games, not the other way around. |

Which is the same as you posted "you can't kill another game, just beat it" and O'Brien just hope GW2 can beat WoW, and left WoW be desolating itself because he also state that “nothing is going to kill WoW other than WoW. Games just don’t die." |

TSW must really be a good game anyway if its players/fans/defenders spend more time posting here in the GW2 forum than playing it... |

I am usually getting more than one title each month, if they are worth the time and money. I rarely spend all my time in one game, so other releases don't affect me that much. In any case, it makes the gaming experience richer. |

Based upon my time in the CB, I would argue that TSW is officially releasing with 2 months (if consumed rapidly) to 3 months (if paced) worth of content. This does not include time you might spend grinding repeatable quests and/or repeating dungeons and/or PvP. It's decent content, but unless Funcom drops frequent updates, most people will be more or less finished seeing the game through Transylvania by the time GW2 launches. Therefore, there should be no impact either way. "Loading screens" are not "instances". |

I doubt that they will go F2P. GW is still B2P, and seeing that they chose B2P + shop twice, instead of the standard subscription, and with all the talk they did, they clearly did not do that on a whim, but did think about it and did their research. Also, compared to some other games, the shop is still tame, seeing that they can't sell real improvements like better armor, or (with the exception of stuff like the bonus mission pack GW had) additional content. Last but not least, a shop does not equal P2W. Even assuming that GW2 *would be* P2W, which it clearly isn't, doesn't make each and every shop P2W. I'll wait to the day's end when the moon is high |

Glad to see most everyone voted No. Althought, I'm sure that even if the majority voted Yes, ANet is unlikely to go back on their release date, short of catastrophic circumstances. I don't see what's wrong with relese dates of games being close by. No matter what you do it will alwasys be like that, and someone always will find a complaint about it. No, there's absolutely no good reason to change the release date. |

I wonder why people see GW2 as so much better than TSW. I'm not saying TSW is great, but neither is GW2. Combat felt just as disconnected in GW2 as it does in TSW for me. Haven't played in the last few beta events though so it might have improved, but GW2 is far from the second coming everyone seems to be believing it is.

Has no effect on me.. Actually, TSW turned me off.. It looks like another story driven MMO.. I don't want to relive a pre-written story like SWTOR.. I want to live my own like I did in past games years ago.. Will GW2 move away from the linear themepark rides of the last 5 years? I don't know.. but one thing for sure.. I won't be paying a monthly sub to find out :) BONUS |
