As a stay at home father, I guess that they didnt pick that date JUST for me. I even get back from vacation <?> the day before headstart. Guess I am not as special to anet as I thought.

Maybe all our soldiers who play video games should complain as well because they are getting shot at and can't play due to being deployed so you can go to college. Seriously growup some!!!!

um ... yeah, the bulk. Not like there are generations before you who are "gamers" who play games with the same zeal AND have the disposable income to do it.

And you have the summer off. Quite frankly, I don't need to say much else because life will show you what happens "after" when you are working a full time job and have actual responsibility.

This is one of the most idiotic threads and opinions I have seen posted. OP, it is people like you who give people the impression that all young people are selfish and arrogant. I'm going to college, but do I care about the release date? Not one bit. You want the game postponed just for you and a select few who whine about going to college or back to school? How about trying to work a full time job, with the game releasing and letting people onto the servers right when your shift starts, unable to take the day off? Whine, whine, whine... Quit complaininng, and grow the hell up.

For me, the timing is perfect. I go out of town for work for a month the week after the last BWE. I'll get back just in time for the release of the game itself. Brilliant. Wait, I forgot, do schools not have weekends anymore, or did I miss something?

I'm off the two weeks before, planned on taking launch off for this game, and now I can't.  Arenanet should have consulted me and my schedule.  Clearly!

Didn't you know , college life is brutal , it's "hard" being a student with all those 2-3 hour blocks of classes, come on man , feel the sympathy for him? ;)

Seriously though , I remember working my way through college , and seeing the whiny full time students thinking going to school full time without a job was just "rough" , was just as amusing then as it is to see some here try and imply going to school full time without having to work full time to put yourself through it is "rough".
