No. I don't feel the need for validation, but I did want to briefly express my opinion. President of The Marvelously Meowhead Fan Club |

How about instead of a whole company you select games that don't live up to the standards that they are supposed to. I'm sure you'll be a happier gamer if you base your decisions on a game by game basis instead of a company one. |

SOE for all of the dirty crap they pulled with the NGE; not for dropping the NGE on us, I can respect them for making the changes that they want to their game, but how they rolled it out to us. CCP for treating the customers that quit playing eve better than the ones that were still paying them by giving them a discount.

1. EA (always was and I'm always careful when I even hear EA's name near any game) 2. Funcom (never buying a thing from their studio again) 3. SOE (as well - careful when the name's mentioned) Blizzard is making it's way up to the top kinda fast but it's still not that bad as with those first 3... "Happiness is not a destination. So far it seems like people hate every MMO publisher equally. I expected more SoE haters though. I'm sure that will change once we learn more about planetside 2 and EQ Next. After all, SoE has been out of the spotlight for a while now. Or maybe people are finally realizing that all large gaming (MMO) publishers are only out to make money? Keeping in mind the average age of gamers, I doubt it though. |

2K Games. I paid about 50 euros for their game, it didn't work, and I didn't get any human to answer my customer support requests. As long as I won't get answer to the e-mails I sent I won't ever pay them anything again. |

Blizzard. No other company is as greedy as Blizzard are.
If EA is evil, Blizzard is Diablo in person. Never will buy anything from them again no matter how good the game is.
The next MMO will be awesome. Until people reach the end game. |

Only f2p asian companies This isn't a signature, you just think it is. |

PWI, Nexon, Gamefrog, Aeria...um..any of teh F2p Asian grinder factories. Because they basically all make the same game.
Ea is nearly there...depends on the developer as I will make exceptions for some titles.
Bioware needs to shape up FAST though. If the ME3 addon falls through and/or DA3 flops...done with them.
Strongly approaching this with Blizzard. Waiting to see if they actually put some care into the remaining SC2 expansions, and/or if Titan is anything more than vaporware. |

None. I evaluate games. I don't evalute companies. I play games, not companies. |

1. SOE
2. As much as I love AC1(still play), Turbine is trying real hard to get on that list too with their antics with LOTRO and AC2(announce the game is shutting down a month after an expansion anyone?) Einherjar_LC says: WTB the true successor to UO or Asheron's Call pst! |

EA is the only company I don't give my money to no matter the game. I hate blizzard and probably wouldn't buy their games, but they haven't made a game worth my interest in over a decade. |

I think Funcom has changed the way I view gaming. I will never EVER buy a game the first month it is released. I will never pre-order a game unless it is a pretend pre-order. Blizzard is the only exception because they have large enough and fully open betas that you at least know you are buying a finished game and know what to expect. Anyone who bought D3 and does´nt like it didn´t do any homework first.. it took about 5 mins to know exactly what the game would be about ´rare drops requiring AH swapping´. Funcom, especially with AOC, was a complete scam.. hidden beta with no real information before launch and a ton of hype. I think Bioware falls more into the Blizzard category.. sure SWTOR is kinda crappy, but I knew it would be before I bought it. But really, there just is no reason to buy a MMORPG the first month.. most of the time you have big stability issues etc that makes it a chore to play... 6 months later, you are easily caught up with everyone else anyway. If you are an ex-wow player and want to come back. Scroll of Rez gives 7 free days, boost a character to 80 a realm and faction change. Send me PM for an invite. Only 1 per day available |

I can understand feeling burned and betrayed so badly by a company that you will vote with your wallet and -cant think of the word, its not ban or blacklist, oh well- then you choose to never by from that publisher/dev again.
Personally Im too selfish to write any company off. SOE screwed up SWG, I never played it but it sounded awesome pre-NGE. If I had become financially independent before NGE Im sure I would have enjoyed it. Do I hold SOE responsible? Sure Ill never play SWG. However, if EQ3 is an intense and engaging MMO. Ill throw my money at them.
SE's games lately are all sucking large peener lately. To the point where I feel sorry for the company. Like honestly I wonder how horribly their employees feel and how stressed out the lead devs are etc. But do I pray they can pull an ace out of the hat- of course I do!
