Wish they'd just launch and patch it as they go already!
I'm a unique and beautiful snowflake. |

I have to say I really had a blast ingame communications wise. I did not see a single negative, trolly orbarrensy comment during whole weekend. I transferred to a new server first thing friday when servers opened and all the chatter was with this really friendly undertone, never seen anything like it in MMO. Maybe I was just lucky with my server / map choice but I was really impressed by how people responded to each other with lots of helpfull responses. |

People on Petrified Forest (unoficial rp eu server) are cool. And they don't scream at people who don't rp =P |

The playerbase was awesome, the game was awesome, had a great time :) All MMO's are even more dead to me than they were :P It was great finding people in WvW and meeting them again in PvE. Even early on you start to get a feel for who the good leaders/fighters in WvW are ect. |

I think the only 'moaning' going on during the weekend was some people debating whether using other languages apart from english in chat was generally worth doing (considering it's a european server, but normally english is standard), but that wasn't flaming, and people came to the conclusion that different chat channels for [map] for different languages would be good in PvE at least. |

Originally posted by Amjoco Ive not seeing any bad chat. I played mostly WvW and had great time but i can't say if the GW2 fans are great there was hardly any chat only for WAR purpose in /MAP channel and for rest not much communication ingame between players. But we all help each other and we could even without chat still as group manage alot. Besides some crashes and some minor bugs i had a blast this weekend. |

Have to agree. I was surprised at how friendly everyone was. However the game is really set up to encourage team play and the revive is a great touch to really feel like you are being helped or helping someone else. Other MMO's only a healer could rez a fallen comrade, in GW2 everyone is pulling up the fallen. Loot drops don't have the same competition and the way missions, dynamic events are set up, it does feel like everyone is in it together. I got into some WvW PvP and it was a load of fun and pretty supportive. I think not paying a sub makes everyone chill out more. Hope it keeps going this way. |

Originally posted by StrangeEyes I found out first hand why people doing DEs or playing in WvW didn't talk all that much. I ended up dead quite a few times, because I was too busy typing something and couldn't dodge out of the way. xD
Otherwise I had a blast. Some guy asked me for help with a skill point, we ended up teaming up and later we picked up a ranger we found dead on the way to another skill point. Then we did some events together until we stumbled upon a group event so I asked if there were people in the area/around the event level wishing to join us and we got more than one group going. After that a few of us went on to WvW, but I was having some pretty nasty lag so I had to leave.
The general chat was also pretty nice and people in general were very helpful and answered questions. :) |

Now I can't stand the single-player games because of GW2. Well, at least I can spend all my free BWE-Tweener time working cuz I actually enjoy my work. |

The closed beta crowd in Aion was very helpful and nice. When open beta came, all of the tards came out and it seemed like more people kept to themselves and were less likely to help each other. |
