No video game would overcome my boredom of being far away from human contact (real one, not virtual one). But if anything, I'd take Guild Wars 2 (beta). I've bought it and I love it, so I can keep on playing for beta and release. Minecraft maybe, but I'll possibly have enough survival stuff to do on my island to want to also play it virtually... LOTRO because I have a lifetime account, and I know that every few months I'll be able ot come back for free to play the story line. Actually, I think I'd rather take a C/C++ compiler and all the tools needed so I can work on my own game (something like Minecraft, but different and with better graphics). In 10 years, I'd have time to do something quite good. |

Island Builder (not actual game but some sort of game like that where I can build my island into a resort) TSW so I can at least feel as though being deserted is part of the mass conspiracy D3 to just kill shit Fishing simulator to practice

First off I would trade the 5 games and the laptop for the chance to have my 2 dogs on the island. barring that then (in no particular order) 1) Skyrim 2) GTA IV (I would actually play it) 3) Fallout 3 4) Red Dead Redemption (yeah it isn't out for the PC, but since the premise of this thread is pretemnd and full of holes I'll just pretend it is out for the PC in this scenario :P) 5) Diablo 3 for the mindless co-op fun it is |

I wouldnt end up on an island for 10 years with my laptop...I have GPS software and would just send my location to friends since there is a wifi connection. I WIN... Seriously though. 1. Oblivion, still getting great mods for it today. 2. Skyrim, will be getting mods for many years to come. 3. They don't want a challenge (like a carebear), they just want easy mode (like a carebear) and a no challenge combat (like a carebear). |
