If you cant take the pressure, get away from me because i dish it out hard! |
so, i was in this games beta and the release back in the day and my wife who played with me asked "so whatever happened to that game we tried that we left in a hurry" "this being after watching clash of the titans again" since we wanted to watch the new one lol. well... the website is down, the status is cancelled and im sure there are those of you that stumble upon this thread and scratch your heads going.. i thought this was a promising game what happened. Well, since noeone else has written anything here i thought id recap. Back in the day ( last year ? haha) the graphics were your norm as todays standards are, however the faction like pvp was something out of my old experiences with the square enix's bought faction game a few yrs ago that flopped in a hurry (cant remember the name), The quests were your standard (get 5 of this, 10 of that and comingle them so you can do it all at once then return it while not reading a damn thing that was said by the npc since its long winded just like this sentence). And lastly, the bugs... the client crashings, the lack of information by the devs, and the fast throwing of items into the cash shop that would make other players have an advantage over each other in battle... making the game a $ hog and the only way to win vs ppl who spam pots (yes u could spam them nonstop) in order to stay alive. All in all i was one of the few in the forums vocally and proudly stating my experience dating back 15+ yrs in gaming and offering civilized non explosive like feedback which was promptly told it would be ok, they were working on it and never not once any input or feedback from a dev. After leaving i can say... if they had just taken a little more time to polish the quests and make them feel a little more interactive, not implement certain aspects into their cash shops to screw over the lil guy (which usually is 75% of the playerbase not wishing to go banannas on the cash shop to beat ppl in combat) and listen to their fans.. maybe this game would still exist... kudos.
