I dont understand how TSW has worse combat and animations than their previous game AoC? One of AoC's strongest points is TSW weakest points, its backwards.
To say they will fix the combat 5 weeks before release is a load of BS and their just trying to get as many pre-orders in as they can. I will not buy any game will subpar combat and animations, since its very important to my gameplay experience. GW2 the future of MMO gaming |

Can't say how good/bad the animations are (at work, will get to play tonight), but I have to say that I can live with that as long as the weakest points of AoC at release (bugged and broken quests, broken dungeons and raids, level gaps in the content) turn out to be TSW strong points.. :) What can men do against such reckless hate? |

AoC to this day still have my favorite combat system of any tab-target game. I was kind of hoping for somethign similair in this game, not sure how it would function in a game where you can blend roles and skills on the fly however. If a game like this had Tera's combat i would be so happy... Ill be playing this for the story, the world, and the theory crafting builds and experementing with them. That and the pve boss fights sound delicious. Other than that im relativly indiffrent on what fills the gaps. Still waiting for more feedback on the game before i decide to go for launch/betas or wait out a month or so. Ill play this just like i played AoC but the question is going to be when. I jumped into AoC a year after launch and had a blast with never an issue other than seige annoyances. Was there for anarchy onlines launch however....what a confusing and fustrating time, especially since subs were a realativly new concept for a lot of gamers who just started the mmorpg genere. Just from what ive heard, this game will probably have a smooth-for-funcom launch, there will be issues for sure. I just wish GW2 would launch june 18 and get their fanbois out of here. A game ill play after that crowd tires and moves on from GW2. |
