I believe in life before death... So dont forget to enjoy it while you still can. |
Needs to be done, to call a halt to the lowering numbers of suscriprions and make new people and old fans interested intoo this game again?
Can it be saved at all? Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) |

I think they've shown they can't do world pvp, since it appears to be tacked on. They need to stick with pve/storyline/additional fluff like podracing and do something with the casinos/cantinas. They need those extras for people that like to do something else when they're not doing dailies/raids/fp's imo. They need to go with one target audience and stick with it, they're so scattered, it's a train wreck atm.
What happens when you log off your characters????..... |

this was a game in a Galaxy far far away, so they said, it ended up being in a park around the corner, wheres the Vast Expanses to be expected in a galaxy?, wheres the diversity?, , dried up time to move on realy realy sad.

Originally posted by Lord.Bachus At this point not much. Dungeon Finder might stave off some but most gamers know that SWTOR was shipped with tons of missing features and hardly anyone who left will come back no matter what. If Rift couldnt stave off bleeding subs theres no way in hell that a wreck such as SWTOR can stop it. |

It's too late to be asking now. Amazing feedback and suggestions on everything from class balance to world PVP to PVE issues and server issues - all were given on the SWTOR official forums but it was all deleted by their fascist moderators. The feedback they received, they dismissed and ignored, saying that they knew better than their players. They can stew in the juice of their failure and enjoy their unemployment checks. They deserve their failure, it is entirely the fault of EAware's arrogant, incompetent and dishonest staff.

I think more useless threads need to be made. Much more doom and gloom. New nicknames for this game, TORtanic is getting old. Pulling more stats out of asses for sure. Stating your personal biased opinion as fact is a must. Much more of that please. /sarcasm(?) off What really needs to be done is FREE server transfers/merges, LFG tool (cross-server or not doesn't matter at this point), and fixing Legacy to not be the money sink it was never supposed to be. All right they can fix the PvP too, but that should be low priority. Those things would be a start. EDIT: Oh yeah poster above reminded me, need more people putting negative things about TOR in their sigs! That's classy. |

I actually agree with most of this. They definately need to NOT take a page from WOW, and attempt to cater to the 'chasers' (both PVE - of which for a few years I was one - and PVP) Unfortunately, they are the most vocal - even though they make up far less than even 50% of a games population (any game) Unfortunately as well, they devour content at a far greater rate than any developer can hope to put out.
I think part of the reason I'm still enjoying the game is that I did take my time this go around. For me, nothing needs to be added (that's personal though - since I've only got my alts to mid 20's and only hit 50 last month) however, 'fluff' stuff would be greatly appreciated by many in my guild for sure |

Slap some new skins on it, code some particle effects and call it Elder Scrolls Online.

Maybe it's what the fans need to do...
As in finally admit Star Wars is better watched than played. |

The kinds of changes that it would take to reconsutruct this game into something enjoyable would be such a massive upheaval to what it currently is that it would end in a NGE for SWTOR which even as much as I dislike SWTOR. I wouldn't want to happen for the sake of those poor souls that do enjoy SWTOR for what it is. |

let it bleed out...it will find its point of equilibrium soon. It will achive stability for those who want to say. They will be happy with the game and all will be well. You can post and flame all about how it was a failure, but in the eyes of those who stayed it wont be and frankly, they can have it. In my case I was never going to be a loyal customer anyways I was just waiting for Tera>>>TSW>>>Neverwinter>>>FF14 2.0 ( lol that's my gaming outline for the rest of the year ) No matter how cynical you become, its never enough to keep up - Lily Tomlin |

Go back in time. Change philosophy from a WoW clone to an action MMO with combat like BattleFront. I want to be Uncle Owen again. |

If they do that, I will call it a great game...as is, its a good story in a really really bad MMO. “I hope we shall crush...in its birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations, which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength and bid defiance to the laws of our country." ~Thomes Jefferson |

What needs to be done? Well, for starters a 100% rollback on their shotgun attempt at class re-balancing post launch would be nice (basically every single class change in 1.2 and any minor tweaks beyond that). Then actually BALANCE the classes rather than rewrite your entire diminishing returns code while simulaneously re-attributing gear and changing every single ability in the game. From there they can start releasing content that actually keeps hardcore PVE players occupied for more than 4 hours two nights a week (after all, according to Daniel Ericson, since casuals are the source of their playerbase hit, they need to start catering to the 1.3 million hardcores that remain.. right?).. Though, in all honesty, simply publicly admitting they screwed up with the class changes in 1.2 and are currently researching how to properly re-balance, rather than the complete silence we've had since 1.2, would be an amazing start. |

The game should have launched with a cross server LFG tool. Even with dead servers, people would have been content to hang around until the server population becomes re-balanced. |

Shut it down and chalk this one up to experience. No way they will ever regain enough lost players to deem the game worthy. Funcom tried it with AOC and eventhough it was a valiant effort many did not even come back or cared for that matter. |
