Outspark, JCR Soft and GameHi have partnered with MMORPG.com to bring our readers first notice about DarkBlood, an action combat title coming later this year. In this first-ever in-game video, we are treated to a look at Combat Training. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results. |

THis by "Guest Writer"
Yet another attempt for MMORPG.com to make money from advertisments hidden behind a Preview, or some such nonsesense. The pattern is so easy to spot. Within 1 months time we will have background banners about this game... insinuating that everyone's heard of it and/or has been anticipating this game... just like Rusty Hearts. |

The gameplay vid makes me wonder why anyone would want to play this. Just one more game about combo chains, which you start by just smashing buttons rather than skillfull timing. |

Armored berserker men are scantily clad and made for hormonally challenged 13 year old boys? I'm not going to claim I understand what turns tweens on these days, but I'm guessing this isn't it. As far as being an MMO, anything that lets people group up and play together and has some form of RPG like progression counts as an MMO. Not just EQ/WoW's genetic waste. |

@Phelcher i do find these topics made by mmorpg disqusting putting up a piece of news while it is obviously a paid ad.
about the banners everyone knows they are ads and i wouldnt even care if a tampon shop would be showing as a banner they are ads |

Folks. It's not paid. Their PR person asked if we wanted the exclusive, I said yes. I tend not to say no to such things. ;) |

Players come for the game, but they stay for the people- Most Devs have forgotten this. |

I accept this, but maybe better to not let them write their own copy under your name? Or present it clearly as a Developer penned promotion? What they say, the way it's presented right now, represents you as a site here, guest or not. I'm not sure that's good for your image :/ I mean, it wasn't so long ago this site ran a piece criticising posters using too much hyperbole... |

I consider that a compliment to a title, considering where recent game design has gone on the whole. |

Yeah, that is bad logic behind your math to prove a point. You are assuming that 100% of their registered users have a facebook. You are also assuming that every person who plays the game even cares about going to the game's facebook page to "like" it. To put that in perspective, that is about as bad as assuming that every person who gets a mail in survey sent to them will respond and take the time to answer honestly.
The game looks okay, I will pass on it as I will be playing other games soon enough. |
