Hello, I would like to thank you for taking the time to check us out. We are located on the Yak's Bend server. Tempest is an active gaming community for people over 20 years of age, that prides itself on its organized structure. We're a casual gaming community who will never give you a problem about placing your partner, kids, or other real life responsibilities above your game time. Thus our membership ranges from college students, career professionals, and even a few retirees. The Tempest Gaming Community was established in 2011 with the launch of RIFT and have moved on and continue to build since then. We've known each other for a very long time and enjoy playing together in many games.
Tempest is a PvX guild that was formed in head start so if you're looking to farm Meta events, level, map completion, dungeon progression, guild missions and SPvP we do it all. We have about 30 members log in and play everyday, with peak hours ranging from 3pm to 1am EST. During our peak hours we usually average 15-20 members online. We have weekly Guild Events to help members with scheduling group activities, which aren't mandatory.
We are looking for mature players that enjoy being part of an active community, be it in-game and on our forums. We don't care if you're the best in the game or the worst in the game, or what your previous raid progression was. We are more interested in who the person behind the screen is and what they want to achieve while being a part of our community. Experience, skill, and playtime are not factors while recruiting for Tempest. We look for people with families, hobbies, jobs, and other Real Life commitments.
Bottom line: We recruit people and not the characters they play.
Tempest offers you: - An established multi-game community - A mature and drama free atmosphere where you can enjoy your game time with friends - Adult members and an experienced leadership team that will make you feel comfortable and welcome - A user friendly website, active forums, Teamspeak3, and a podcast to keep you up to date with gaming news and guild activities - An upgraded guild structure with Bounties, Treks, Rush and Deep Cave available - currently working on the Challenges unlock. Along with rolling 10% Magic Find, 15% Karma, and 10% Gathering bonuses. - Weekly guild activities: Tuesday/Thursday are scheduled PvE nights, Fridays are Guild Missions (Bounties, Treks, Rush) night. Usually every night you can find a group in SPvP. All scheduled guild events start around 9 or 9:30pm EST.

Today Arenanet annouced BWE2 will be the weekend of June 8th! Join Tempest on the Tarnished Coast server and have a blast in WvW. Man what a blast we had in BWE2! We had to move to a newer server due to our old one being full. It was a good switch because it seems a lot more people were interested in WvW on The Wilds. The Wilds was dominant in WvWvW during BWE2. Tempest was out in force and we had a blast. Come join us and see all that is going on. Can't wait for release. See you all in the Mists. |

Had a great time over the weekend, played alot of pve and wvw. If you are looking for a good guild that is established and full of gaming enthusiasts like yourself than give Tempest a look. I have been a member for around 6 months and have enjoyed my time in guild. Looking forward to meeting any new members.

Well, it's been about a week since last beta weekend, and a buddy and I are having slight withdraws from the wvw since we love to pvp. So now we are hitting up some Rift pvp. Our guild has alot of people from all over, of all adult ages and playing a variety of games while we wait for GW2. Join up and find a great community of friends and gamers. We have a sizable pool of players going active throughtout the betas and into Launch. We're looking for details on the next Beta event so we can scratch this itch. Has anyone seen the this pic?
