I think when it come to the Elders Scolls Online .

If its Buy to Play it will be very successful

If its subscription based it will fail .

if this is true then why it is that when WoW releases an xpac so many people rush out to buy it? Why is it still the number 1 MMO? Why is every MMO released judged according to the accolades that WoW achieved?

They target WoW because we as gamers tell them to..

Sad that even Bethesda has to take a hit now because they find hope in the false dream of becoming "like WoW", but hey, had we thrown millions of dollars into a sandbox like everyone seems to think they would have maybe we would have a different vision and outcome of TES:O..

Everyday these forums seem like more and more the vocal minority than what the majority of playerbase actually thinks, because for all the values these forums stand for the exact opposite is true in the reality of things..

Ex. - The ones most vocal about wanting something "new" and tired of the WoW clones are the same ones that pay Blizzard 15 bucks a month to continue to play WoW.. Clearly not helping the situation..

Your example at the end reads as follows:

People who want a new MMO Experiance, Sill Pay money for an Old MMO Experiance.

Do these people still  enjoy WoW? Do they complain about the game because they want the game to get better or because they have too much free time? Are they still Playing WoW because there arent any other games better out there?

MMO's need Science and numbers, we need to fight back against the corporate hounds with something they understand, numbers. Show them theres an outcry for Sandbox games and it will happen. If one indie developer could make a truely unique sandbox it would jumpstart the market again. Start helping out indie devs guys, like it or not giving them your money is the only way to make the Money Overlords chose a different type of MMO.
