I couldn't agree more, I would love to be able to cancel my order right now based on the beta.

The graphics are average at best, the combat is clunky due to a horrible targetting system and the "World Events" are nothing more then "Kill ### of mob X". The questing system is boring since it brings nothing new to the table and all the promises of dynamic questing were extremely overstated.

I don't get it. Youtube is full of Gw2 gameplays and every single one of them has over 90% likes. And when you actually get to experience the same thing you don't like it? Everything I've experienced so far I saw on youtube and I knew what to expect. And game delivered what was promised.

Forget the lagg, connectivity issues and performance, it is being fixed and will be fixed by launch. You must have found at least 10 mins of peace during beta. Did you like it then?

Not exactly true.  A lot of people have complained about certain aspects of the game that had nothing to do with lag.  I've seen a lot of complaints about the combat and combat animations being stiff and clunky, and also the dynamic events being nothing more than cleverly disguised Kill X of Y quest chains.  Those are two big-time features of the game that people were excited for, but some (not all, mind you) of the folks who are unhappy were disappointed in those two things specifically.  I'm not sure the dynamic event gripes are warrented just yet because you'd have to assume they get more fun and complex in later levels, but I have to say, the combat looks pretty rough, so they have a point there.  

Fact is, you can't really judge a game by youtube videos.  Sometimes you have to wait until you are actually playing it to get a true feel for it.

Well 12 hours into the beta now and still cant log in, try guess what I voted.

I didnt have any hardware or connectivity issues.  The gameplay was increadibly strange to me, at first I found it hard, but once I got better at dodging it wasn't so bad.  The GW2 videos were nice and all, but when I played it for myself I was unbelievably bored by any class I tried.  Quests were insanely boring.  I also knew there wasnt the typical tank dps healer roles, and I thought it was cool, but now I realize how much I liked playing a healer in other MMO's after playing this game.

The voice acting was really good and I enjoyed the story, but nothing in the world could save it from how annoying combat was and boring the quests were.

People must be having some seriously horrible luck. I started playing around 2PM EST, logged off at around 5:30PM. Logged back on at 9PM. I also logged in an out of the game when trying to see if I can visit another server (the functionality is turned off right now), following which I played all the way until the 30 minute maintenance, when ANet shut off the servers. Logged back in after 30 minutes and continued playing without a hitch.

Yes, I did experience some lag and FPS drops at times but I never actually had an issue with getting into the game.

Taking out the roughly 30% who were just checking the numbers...

Almost 50%ish of the players think the game is awesome

25% think it is OK

25% want their money back

Hard to site any true statistics with such a small polling number, but it would appear that GW2 is viewed in a favorable light by the majority of those who responded.

Trying to figure out how to get my money back... Only because I can't stand dealing with this company and how they handle things. I won't ever expreience this game first hand and they have made sure I wont ever care.

This team is seriously from another planet, and I think that planet is called Clueless.

What's the problem? So you've bought the game, got into the Beta and what? It doesn't work? Well it's called BETA for a reason. Don't like it? Well, again, it's still early days, it'll have a lot more spit & polish put on it in the coming months. If it's something more critical than that you don't like, why did you buy it?

If you don't want to deal with account issues, login issues, crashes, etc. DON'T play a game that's still BETA.

So hang on, you haven't played it, or even downloaded it, yet you still want your money back... why exactly? Plus I wouldn't have to guess if you would have actually told us why.

It's a beta when you're invited and play for free.  It's a paid preview, no matter what they want to call it, when they charge you to play.  If they don't want to piss people off then they shouldn't charge access to their paid preview.  If they're going to do that then they're going to get a lot of flak when people can't enjoy what they paid for.  Beta is a meaningless bullshit word now.

It's still a beta, nobody forced you to buy it now... You could have waited for the game to come out and bought it then. You would have been paying for exactly the same thing, the finished game. You're not paying anymore for this weekend than you would do otherwise at release; they made it clear that it's not finished, there will be bugs, etc.

I wish people wouldn't expect so much from a half-finished product. If you don't want to see it in this state, don't play it till release, simples.  Plus, their wiping the servers, so nobody will be better off as a result of this weekend.

This isnt beta its an advertisement beta. You know where they show the game off and get people to pay months ahead to play it? In the last 5 year no MMO has ever fixed big issues in beta because serverside lag is hard to fix. Swotor had that problem and didnt fix it. Same with war so why should I expect this to be anything different?

People will say trust in Anet. I dont trust in multi million dollar companies looking to make a quick buck. 

This is the other clue that this was a money grab, no refunds.
