Originally posted by SuperXero89 There a big difference between "the public" and "fully fledged customers". Sure, anyone can access the game but to do so they must make a financial commitment to the game. Beta's are known to have worse performance then the finished product and at this point that's all that matters. Word of mouth about any flaws during the beta won't matter if those issues are fixed by them; if they are not then GW2 will get slammed for it just like any other game. Long story short, it doesn't matter what impression the BETA makes on players (aside from feedback of course). P.S. the devs have already told us they are still optimizing performance and gave the reason why it's slow right now. Unless you want to pretend they are lying to us there is really nothing left to say except "the game need better FPS by launch".

Originally posted by Chrome1980 I definitely want a stable game. But I look at this as an issue that is very fixable quickly. Especially the server crashes. Remember, this is the first truly large scale test they've done yet. I bet most of these issues will be resolved by the end of the weekend. We'll see. |

Originally posted by fundayz It is a suggestion not a complaint. But not that anyone is expecting GW2 fans to acknowledge the problem. |

Originally posted by fundayz No, if you reread what I said, I'm not generalizing developers at all, I'm generalizing these forums :) |

The game runs ok for me but could run much better after playing for 2 hours. Most options do almost nothing. Only shadows affect my framerate in any significant way. But I have amd/ati cpu and gpu so I expect some improvements. iot's a little bad coming from TERA which run flawlessly but yea.. it's beta =]

Originally posted by Chrome1980 I wouldn't call it a "problem" if it's been going on for less than 2 hours. You can't complain about server stability about the a beta event that's been going for less than half a day. If you wanna complain about the FPS, go ahead, it IS low. |

Originally posted by fundayz I don't know how hoping that ANET delays the release a little bit more to polish the game is a complaint? and yes people can complain about server stability in first few hours. They paid for the beta slot when they paid for the game. ANET isn't some rookie company. But please free to shut everyone up..not that you will be successful. |

This is my ONLY gripe about this game, and I guess that's a good thing. FPS when around other players is horrible. Rest of the game is fantastic. They fix the FPS I'll be a very happy camper. Personally, I've always wondered how optimization works when so many PC builds interact with a game like this.

Originally posted by DiabloRocks I only tried TERA 1 week ago and had a wonderful performance. but we have to remeber that TERA was release year ago in korea so they had lots of time to optimise the game. And GW2 has so much more detail >< |
