To the OP I agree in the sense that new games should try to bring something new to the genre instead of more of the same. Games like TSW for instance (I am sure there are a few other games too!) at least are trying something different and fair play to them for it. I don't intend to play it myself but it is still nice to see SOMETHING besides the same gameplay or the same old story with names changed. Progression should be about evolving the genre not replicating what's out there already. P.S. I think there should be more then just a Holy Trinity of games and probably a few gems out there that aren't on the radar but probably should be. |

More games on the market? Less of them? Doesn't matter. They all play the same. Even the biggest, newest name on the block, SWTOR, is a retextured copy of the reigning King of the Hill.
