Originally posted by wrightstuf I agree. I do find it slightly amusing to see it is the same people again and again though. Yes, pretty much everyone that uses this site knows they hate SWTOR/EA/ Bioware etc etc, but they still feel the need to keep telling everyone about it. Bioware did not claim that noone has stopped playing, they did not even claim that they have not lost a single subscriber, they only claim that subscriber numbers are not dropping.

Originally posted by Dranny As opposed to all the meaningful and thought pro - Yeah right, who the fuck are you kidding? 1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical. 2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself. 3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Originally posted by Wickedjelly Oh, I agree that the plausibility is suspect, but so is the notion that "if I quit, the numbers must drop". I want a mmorpg where people have gone through misery, have gone through school stuff and actually have had sex even. -sagil |

Originally posted by Ramanadjinn This is one thing I'd like to point out too, before they release numbers for the investors. Are we actually going to be able to tell anything from these numbers if they timed their free reactivations specifically to obfuscate those numbers? |

Originally posted by Byrhofen THey have lost players, tons, and they have not sold enough to make up for those losses, that would mean they would have had to sell upwards of 4 million copies and that hasn't happened, not even close! LOL! ![]() |

Originally posted by Teala Didn't they just release in the Oceanic area? I'm pretty sure the original 1.7M number was NA and EU subs. Originally posted by WhiteLantern I really dont care enough to look at dates but someone else will. Is it possible that they said this during the "free" days they gave people? That would be a perfect time to claim they still have the subs they always did. They wouldnt be lieing in that case either. They didnt say "paying subs". |

Originally posted by Teala And how does that negate anything I said? Also, how does it change the fact that your thread title, and actual OP content is completely wrong and purposefully misleading? Never mind, dont bother answering.

I quit a few weeks back but sub runs through the end of the month. I find it hard to believe they are replacing people at the rate the say, seems more like an accounting trick than anything else.

Coming here for an objective opinion or poll of TOR or EA would be like to going to a Vegan website and asking what the favorite brand of steak is. With the exception, of course, that the vegans might respond more kindly then here. |

I'm still subbed and still playing for three reasons (in this order): 1) I am the leader of my guild's Republic chapter and I don't want to bail on them...yet. 2) There is nothing else out there I am interested in MMO wise...yet 3) It's Star Warsy As soon as GW2 and TSW hit I'm afraid I will be bidding farewell to SWTOR. |
